Tommy seemed to be vibrating from excitement at his grandfather's feet.

"We're almost at my favorite part!"

The old man patted the little blonde's head and gave him a bon bon. 

"Yes we are, but don't spoil anything! Remember Ranboo has only heard this story once before."

The man reminded the excited kid. He nodded extatically and the man continued

 ⏳

The sound of thunder rang through the trios ears and they turned to the thunder clouds. 

"Fuck... Quackity wake up the crew we need everyone on deck. Karl prepare the sails."

They both nodded and ran different directions. Soon the whole crew was up and awake on deck. SapNap looked at the clouds and tried steering the ship away from it but it was already to late. The storm had moved in quick and they were surrounded by ragging waves and harsh rain. The rest of the trip was a blur and once he was regained from his adrenaline rush they were free from the storm and now had clear skies.

"That was stressful." Karl laughed beside him. 

"Eh, it was pretty light considering others we've dealt with before." 

Karl looked at him, impressed but nodded.

"Of course.." "Hey Captain! The sail has been torn. Should we continue with our course?"

SapNap nodded his head. "We have the materials to repair, stay on the same course."

Karl walked down to the cabins and he soon spotted Quackity searching for damage to the cannons. 

"Hello Q." "Hello SapNap. Charming Karl again I see."

The other teased a little, looking at him with an eyebrow raised.

"Perhaps~, he's pretty adorable." "I know, that's one of the reasons I married him." "Could you share thennn?"

Quackity chuckled and shook his head a little. "I don't think you deserve Karl Cap." 

"Really?" SapNap crossed his arms over his chest and Quackity just nodded. "how do I prove it to you then?"

Quackity looked at him with an amused expression. 

"Well he's pretty easy to flirt with no feelings attached. Make him have feelings for you." He challenged. "And don't worry if he does, we both said that it's okay." 

  SapNap thought about it and nodded. "I'll go a step further and make you both love me." He said, winking at the other before walking away. 

So that's how the rest of day one went on the boat; SapNap throwing a bunch of flirty remarks at Karl and Quackity, Karl responding back the same way and Quackity blushing but saying his efforts were pitiful. 

-Later That Night Because Motivation is Tight- (In Quackity and Karl's Shared Cabin)

"Did Sap seem off to you?" Karl asked while changing into a tattered yet soft shirt to sleep in.

"He seemed more flirty than usually I think." Quackity agreed and with that Karl turned around to look at him.

"Are you okay with that?" "Of course" "Honestly" "Honestly Karl, I am perfectly happy with this if you are too." Q cupped his husbands face to look at him. The other nodded and pecked his lips quickly and pulled away to lay on the bed.

"So what's your opinion on him?"

Quackity looked at Karl and grinned at him, poking him in the side.

"I think you can do better." He sang. Karl laughed and pulled him down to snuggle. 

"I already got a ten, I need an argent one to even it out."

Karl hummed, kissing Quackity's already flushed face before snuggling into him and falling asleep, Quackity's visible gold and blue scales glowing faintly in the pitch black room
