Y/n's POV

I woke up and the sun was now fully risen. I saw that Finnick was still sitting there, just staring out at the water. I realized that Gale was already awake when I noticed he was playing with my hair.

"How'd you sleep?" He asked me

"Pretty good actually. You?" I say

"Same" We sat up.

"Hey, you guys sleep well?" Finnick asked us finally taking his gaze off of the water.

"Yeah," We both said at the same time. We saw a parachute come down to us. I opened it and there was a container of fluffy rolls for breakfast. 

"Oh, sweet," I said. We divided them up and ate them. After eating I told Finnick that he should try to get some sleep.

"No, I'm good. I'm not tired at all," He said. We decided to get some more water and clean up a bit. I cleaned out my nails -there was some blood in them from God knows what- and I rinsed my face with some fresh water that I tapped out of a tree, I also rinsed my hair out and it dried pretty quickly in the sun leaving me feeling refreshed again.

After eating, restocking water, and freshening up, we'd been awake for about 3 hours. We were sitting and looking at the water when I saw someone walking up to us with two people behind her. Finnick gets up and so do Gale and I, we get closer and Finnick recognizes the girl up front.

"Johanna!" He calls out

"Finnick!" She calls back walking up to us. her face covered in blood. "You won't believe what just happened. We were walking through the jungle, and I got these two. Then the rain started. We thought it was water, but it turned out to be blood. Hot. Thick. Blood. We were running around gagging on it, that's when Blight hit the forcefield...he wasn't much but her was from home" Johanna told us why, her, Wiress, and Beetee were all covered in blood.

"Do you have fresh water?" Beetee asked us as he washed the blood off his glasses.

"Yes, we do," I said and handed him a shell full of water. Wiress was going crazy, she kept saying tick tock over and over again. Johanna pushed her, hard, and she fell to the ground.

"Hey, stay off her!" I yelled at Johanna, which she didn't like at all. She slapped me, and I tasted blood coming from my lip. I and slap her, too, we start fighting until eventually Finnick gets her away from me and drags her to the water and dunks her head repeatedly under the water as she screams things like: "I got these two for you!" and "I don't care if you're knocked up! I'll kill you!" I lick the blood off my lip and watch as she continues screaming.

"Are you okay?" Gale asked me

"Yeah, I'm fine. She's insane" I whispered the last part in fear that she would hear me and go crazy again. Once Johanna is calmed down, we give her some water. I take Wiress to the water and clean the blood off her face and out of her hair. She repeatedly keeps saying "Tick Tock. Tick Tock"

All six of us go back to our camp and survive the day. We caught some fish and shellfish and ate dinner. Gale cracked open a clam and inside was a little purl. He held it up and admired it then held it toward me and handed it to me.

"For you," he said, I smiled

"Thank you" The purl was smooth and perfectly round, I held it close to me. he reached out and intertwined our fingers.

"Y/n, you do know that you have to be the one who goes home, right?" I shook my head.

"No. I don't need to be the one. You do, and you know it"
