Leo's POV

Rubbing my eyes awake I searched for my phone on my bedside cabinet.
Two missed calls from Buttercup

I quickly dialed her number and she picked up her phone.
"Hey buttercup, I got your missed calls"
"Heyy Leo, oh can you pick me up please. I can't walk" Winter's voice sounded with frustration.
"Sure hunny, I'll be there in 45"
"Seconds?" she questioned in confusion.
"No minutes you dummy" I chuckled.
"Oh ok thanks!" She hung up.

Getting ready as quick as I could so that I don't get to Winter late, realisation hit me.
I always pick her up, then why did she ask?
I laughed in confusion.

After picking up the boys I then headed to Winter's house.
"Four weeks man and you still haven't asked her out. I'm disappointed in you" Liam spoke with mock disappointment.
"It's been a year and you still have not built up the courage to ask Linda out so fuck off!!"

The car boomed with laughter as Liam crossed his arms to his chest and pouted.

I'm outside buttercup.

A minute later she went out of the house dreadfully.
Winter is always enthusiastic, she even runs down the stairs. What's wrong today?
Opening the door she carefully took a sit in the passenger's side.
"Hey guys"
"What's wrong mousey" Liam asked as I stared at her concerned.

"Nothing, let's just go" she said slumping in her sit.
When we got to school I quickly opened the door for her and gestured for her bag.
I threw it over my back and held her by her waist.
After a moment, she removed my hand from her waist. Is she mad at me?
Without asking any questions I didn't touch her anywhere else.

She headed for her locker and I followed her. Taking her books out of the locker and putting them in her bag in my hands, we remained in silence.
Heading to homeroom she winded an arm over my waist and leant on me and a sigh left her lips.
So she's not mad at me, what's going on?

I opened a chair for her and then sat down in mine. The class was still empty meaning we got there early.
She stood up wincing in pain.
"What's wrong butter...."
She sat on my lap catching me off guard.
Cuddling herself to my chest I pulled her closer and kissed her temple.

"Are you alright baby?"
"It's so painful" she spoke so softly I almost didn't catch it.
I frowned and put my hands on her waist, making her face me.
"What's wrong?"
She came close to my ear and whispered, "it's that time of the month"
My eyes widened but I quickly regained my posture.

"Sorry baby" I kissed her forehead and lead her back to my chest.
She laughed a little and I looked down at her in confusion.
"It's like we are dating" my cheeks flushed red, luckily she didn't notice.

When other students came in she went back to her chair.

After school I dropped the boys off and took Winter to lunch.
She's on her period so she's probably craving for anything and everything.
I took her to a diner ten minutes from her house in case she needed to rush back home.

"What do you want to eat baby?" I looked up from the menu in my hands only to see Winter staring at the menu indecisively.
"Order anything you want buttercup" she looked up at me with an adorable 'really?' face.
I nodded.

A tall dark waiter came to our table.
"Good afternoon, may I take your orders?"
"I'll have a cheeseburger with fries, thank you" I said giving him the menu.
" I'll have the cheeseburger with cheese and meat fries and the pork ribs and fries. Oh and make it two cheeseburgers, thanks"

"You said I can order anything right?" She looked up at me.
"Yes buttercup" I boomed out laughing.
We ate while she told me about her obsession with nature.
After I finished my meal I stared at her in adoration, gobbling up her meal.

She is so perfect.
