Living with dying

I stare at Leo, urging him to continue. What does he mean it was not just a cave? What more could there be?
"I mean...I mean it was not just a cave. It was a cursed cave. It goes back to the ancient greek gods." I sit cross legged on the floor, listening attentively. He explains the whole story of the cave, referring to Asclepius, a demigod who murdered his daughter, Alethea, for complete immortality.
"Leo, you are not making any sense. That is impossible, greek gods are a myth. There is no such thing, there was no such thing and there never will be. Demigods? Are you for real?" I voice in a low tone.

"Ok, maybe the background story isn't true but I swear, that cave is cursed."
"How, what kind of curse?" He walks towards me, occupying the space next to me.
"When you died, a few seconds later.... everything around us disappeared, the cave disappeared and, and...we were floating in something like space...it was dark, it was like we were in a limbo. Then, we were here." I feel a lump form in my throat, aghast at his words.

"So what's going to happen now?" I ask, my voice cracking.
"I guess we wait and see what happens. I'm just glad you're alive, I thought I lost you." He says pulling me into his embrace.
"I'm here" I move closer to his chest, loving the comfort it provides.

We stay like that for a while then decide to get something to eat since it's almost lunchtime. Leo tells me to sit down and let him do all the work. I take a sit with my arms crossed over my chest, huffing in annoyance.
"You're so adorable when you are annoyed" I roll my eyes at his statement.

He fixes up some sandwiches and lemonade, putting the dishes on a tray and gesturing for me to follow him. I follow him into the living room where we watch a movie and stuff ourselves with deliciousness.
"Your sandwiches are amazing" I moan after taking a bite getting a chuckle and a thank you in response.

It's already five when the movie ends and I decide to go home.
"My mom is probably worried sick about me, I'm going to go home now" a frown takes over his face and I smile at his cuteness.
"Let me drive you home then" he says taking his keys and his leather jacket.
We walk out of his apartment and I wait for him when he locks up.

The drive is peaceful and filled with basic chatter. After a half an hour his car stops infront of my house and I turn to him, dreading that I have to leave him already.
"When will I see you again?" He questions, removing his seatbelt so he can face me.
"I'm asking myself the same question" his eyes travel to my lips for a split second then move back to look into mine.

"Go out with me." He uses his bad boy tone making me squirm.
"You forgot to say please" my lips manufacture a smirk.
"Pretty please" he moves closer to the point our lips almost connect, making me reminisce about the day I first met him.
"I'd love to" I press a kiss to his cheek and step out of the car.
"You be safe ok" he nods in response and we bid each other goodbye.

A mouthwatering aroma welcomes me when I step into the house. I walk into the kitchen and my mom greets me with a kiss on my forehead.
" How are you honey, did you have fun?"
"Fun?" I ask, not understanding what she is talking about.
"Your weekend with Lara." She states, she picks up on my confusion and frowns.
"Oh yes, I had fun. Her mom says hi. I'm tired, we didn't sleep the whole weekend so I am exhausted. I'm going to go to bed now ok"
"Are you not hungry?"
"I'll eat when I wake up" I grin earning a nod from her.
I walk up the stairs with a sigh, that was close.
What is going on?

How did I wake up with Leo?
My eyes widen as a thought crosses my mind.
I quickly rush to my room and slam the door shut.
"Oh my god, oh my god...did we have sex" I panick, pacing back and forth.

I am so going to kill him if we did.
