Charlotte laid in bed staring at the fire. She was thankful that James remembered her but she felt sad for Mama. She woke up the next morning, was dressed and headed down for breakfast. Mama decided to join them today and she had an idea why.

James sat beside her, seemingly no longer nervous by this unknown to him woman. Especially after hearing about her from his sisters. In fact, something clicked when they told about how he once begged her to go riding with him. She did, but did not mention that she was not good at it and was always nervous about getting on a horse. So to make her happy, he seemed loathed to make such a beautiful person so sad, he spoke up. "How about we go riding ?" he asked her with a smirk.

Robert laughed and Cora looked at her son in amazement, smiling. "James?"

"Hello, mama," he said giving her a hug and kissing her cheek. "I am dreadfully sorry to have upset you!"

"Oh, my darling, Its not you're fault, but you are feeling better?" She asked.

"Much better now that i know who the most important person in my life is."

"Excuse me?" Robert said, feigning offense.

"Oh, Robert, really. Mothers are the most important in a child's life," Cora said.

He stood, moved to stand behind her. " Oh. I know that a mother and a wife are both important in this home."
