Working and Sister's Second Confession (Part 2)

Melody POV:

I was walking to my room after helping Takehaya with his talismans and a wave of demonic lust hit me.

There are two kinds of demonic lust.

The slightly good kind, were the demon wants his mate or around that area.

And the bad kind, were their desire for blood and death.

The lust was coming...

From mine and Nanami's room...

I ran there as fast as I could.

When I got there I saw Tomoe hugging a crying Nanami.

"I am sorry, Nanami. I was wrong. Please do not let this concern you." Tomo-nii said trying to calm her down. Then his moved one of his hands and grabbed the edge the her button-up. "Here, you will catch cold if you remain in this wet shirt. I will remove it for you."

He then pulled off to reveal her shoulders.

Nanami freaked out.

"That's okay! I'll do it myself!" Nanami yelled as she crouched on the floor holding on to her shirt.

"Come, do not let it concern you. It is a familiar's duty to look after his lady and mistress." Tomo-nii said with an evil smirk, glowing red eyes, and he was tugging on her shirt. "What is the matter? You are wearing a cami underneath, so you do not mind. Is that not right?" Tomo-nii asked then pulled her onto the floor. "And tonight, I will sleep by your side as you wish. I am a familiar, so there is nothing wrong with that, yes?"

WHAT THE FLYING FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Well, Nanami?" Tomo-nii asks.

As I was about to summon my battle axe, Tomo-nii sat up and asked, "Are you still fine with this?" As his tail wagged.

IDIOT...

"Go to hell, Tomoe!" Nanami screams as she kicks him off to a distance.

He got a long way to go...

The next day—————————————————————————

Narrator: It is now the seventh day of the Divine Assembly. At long last, the final day.

"There! I finished a hundred of them, Lady Inaho." Nanami said excitedly.

I look up and sleep her sleeping... Of course, she does sleep a lot...

"She hasn't gotten a single person done since two hours ago!" Nanami screamed while hold to blank talisman.

"We did try to warn you." one of the wise brothers said.

"Nomi was the one who fell victim last year." another one said.

"I should have warned you you, sis. She sleeps nearly everyday." I said as I write the last name on the last of my talisman. "And I'm done." I said as I dropped my things and fell on the floor.

"Hey, what's up?!" Otohiko asked.

"The sky..." I said tiredly.

"Oh, poor Melody. You must be exhausted, you are the busiest of us all." Otohiko said as he patted my head. "Anyway, I got you girls some souvenirs." he said he handed one bag to Nanami and put a bag by me.

"Thanks, but what about your work?" Nanami asked.

"Oh honey, I've finished a while ago. Once you're done, you gotta go and fun, quick. Otherwise, you get suck doing the work of other gods, too. What a joke, right?" Otohiko states.

Nanami looked down.

"How has the Divine Assembly been for you girls? Tell me, that you learned a few things, Nanami." Otohiko says.

"Yeah., it's incredible. A person destiny is one thread... and that destiny links together with other people's destinies." Nanami explains.

"That's right. They intertwine and create bonds. Everything is linked from the past to the present. There steps leading to every encounter people have. Which means that even you talking to me right now, is a result of something that's long been in the making. Come on, today is the last day of the Divine Assembly. Let's finish up our work beautifully and have a well-deserved drink at the banquet!" Otohiko said happily.

I smile.

She growing up so fast...

I helped Nanami with her dress and then I got ready as I turn back to my regular form. (look at pic)

"This is amazing! It's a grand gathering of the gods! Everyone looks like they're having fun! Maybe I'll let my hair down, too." Nanami said excitedly.

"You should!You must be tired,so I'll be your escort!" Mizuki said as held up two bottles of sake.

I whacked him with my fan and said, "Not on your life, handbag."

"Hey girls!" We turned to see Otohiko. "You two look like dolls."

"Otohiko, thank you for the kimonos!" Nanami said happily.

"No problem. And what a relief, after all those shabby clothes you wore, I thought you were a lost cause." Otohiko said with a smile.

I shook my head.

"Miss Goddesses," I heard a small female voice. Two female rabbits held up small trays of sake. "Your hard work in carrying out the duties of your shrine is appreciated."

"Sake? I don't know..." Nanami says as she takes the cup.

I take mine and had a small sip. Not bad.

"It is a cup from the Lord Okuninushi. Come, you must drink." one of the rabbit says.

"Nanami can not drink yet, so I shall have it instead." Tomo-nii said as he takes her cup. Then he took a sip.

The group looks at him as if he was crazy... Which in this case he is...

"What is the matter?" Tomo-nii asks.

"Sure, be the hunk, why don't you?" Otohiko said as he backed away.

"I wish Tomoe would just die." Mizuki says.

"Why?! What did I do?!" Tomo-nii asked as he freaked out.

"Nothing at all. I just want something to drink too." Mizuki says as he hugs Tomo-nii from behind.

This is sad...

Well, I asked for a better life... I guess I have to make do...
