~•Chapter 10•~

They made their way back to the school.
The small group entered the school and directly made their way to the meeting room.
Scara ran up to them, to greet them.

Scara: "hey, is everything alright? Where's Diluc and what happened to Aether?"

Albedo: "everything is fine but Diluc got bitten by a zombie so we didn't had a choice than to leave him alone with his new 'mates' and Aether fell down the stairs from the karaoke bar, we're thinking that he sprained his ankle"

Scara: "oh shit uhm anyways don't go into the room, there's a 'small' fight"

Albedo: "then I'll go there immediately!"

Kazuha: "I'll tag along tho"

Scara: "I hope it's okay when Aether stays outside.. ah nah nevermind, I'll take care of his wounds in the room just get inside and sit him on a chair but put his legs on another chair in front of him, so I can treat the sprained part"

Kazuha: "understood"

They went inside the room.
As they entered the room their yelling stopped and looked at Aether and Kazuha.
Aether got put on a chair and Scara treated his wounds.

Albedo: "why are you fighting?"

Kokomi: "I want to know that either.."

Xiao: "because Ayaka wanted to let Aether getting thrown out of here and I meant that he doesn't have anything to with the disappearance of Venti"

Amber: "where's Diluc?"

Albedo: "he isn't among us anymore.."

Ayaka: "Then that means that monster killed Diluc?!"

Ayaka pointed towards Aether and glared at him.
Aether was shocked to hear her saying that, he wanted to say something but he kept it for now.
It hurted Aether to hear Ayaka calling him a monster.

Ayaka: "SINCE YOU'RE HERE ALL THESE THINGS HAPPENED! FIRST IS VENTI DISAPPEARED AND NOW DILUC GOT KILLED BY ANYONE MAYBE FROM YOU, MAYBE VENTI GOT KILLED FROM YOU TOO!"

Aether: "i-"

Ayaka: "I'M SCARED, WHAT IF I'M NEXT? IF I REALLY AM NEXT THEN I KNOW WHO IT WAS!"

She yelled in fear and ran out of the room.
Aether sat there doesn't know how to react.
The others were shocked and looked at Aether who looked down.

Kokomi: "Aethe- huh?"

Aether backed away in fear.
Kokomi slightly shocked and took some steps back as Aether nearly screamed in fear as he cried.
Kazuha went to Aether, crouching next to him to calm him.

Albedo: "I think we should stop the meeting"

Amber: "yeah I think so too"

Scara: " after what Ayaka yelled I can understand his reaction"

Kazuha: "I think it's better for us, before anyone else starts to get scared.."

Amber: "we should all get some sleep, it's the best to sleep over it and talk about it in the next day"

They all agreed and left the room with their own business.
Kazuha and Aether went to the rooftop to relax.
The silence between them wasn't as awkward as Aether always thought when he had company, he thought it was very comfortable.

Kazuha: "I'll leave you alone if it's okay for you, I'm tired.."

He yawns and Aether let's him rest.
Aether was all alone now but he didn't mind.
He enjoyed the silence and looked at the city.
The look over the city was weird no light not even any animals were in sight nor you couldn't hear them not even the birds were chirping.

Aether went to the entrance of the rooftop and went downstairs to go to Kazuha and rest in his room.
He had to go past Ayaka's room.

"Strange her door is open, I should better close it before it's open for the rest of the night" Aether said as he went to the door to close it.

"Ayaka I closed the door for you-"

Aether screamed before actually fainting.
