Techno sighed as he held Tommy tightly to his chest. Said toddler looked up at him and giggled, clapping his hands together as his blonde hair reflected the moon light around them. His powers were most definitely going to be acting up, the moonlight being pulled towards the child told Techno that.

"Thank god you are okay." Techno murmured, ignoring the way the villain watched him carefully, analytically, as he made sure the three year old smiled up at him like Techno was his world. "Are you hurt?" He had to make sure, was he attacking the villain or not.

"Ecie! Ecie!" Tommy giggled, a ball of light and stars surrounded them as Tommy gripped onto his hero suit. "Ecie save me!" Tommy nodded, like it was the most important thing in the world to him.

"I figured he was yours. He kept mentioning a 'ecie' and 'woosh' noise." Whisperer mused, walking back along the wallside, his head tilted to the side as he took a deep breath. "I now know your civilian identity, I could destroy everything you love and never even bat an eye." He added, but his gaze landed on Tommy.

"But... That thing has managed to worm his way into my heart and has made himself rather comfy it seems." Whisperer sighed, shaking his head slightly as Tommy looked over at him and tilting his head.

"Ilbah! Ilbah!" Tommy nodded, pointing at Whisperer with a knowing look. Techno was at a loss, he could never bring himself to hurt something Tommy liked or loved, but Whisperer was a villain, someone seeking to destroy everything around him. What was something Phil would do?

Phil had once been in this situation, that Techno was sure of. He could remember it. He had only been 5 years old, and counselor's all assumed he had forgotten it or his mind had blocked it out. He never forgot the Hero that had found him and taken him. Using him to find out Phil's civilian identity to take down the villain. Techno had wormed his way in and made himself happy in XD's heart, making himself feel loved.

XD and Phil had faced off, Techno had screamed and cried, being held in HD's arms as the two fought. In the end, both had died. Techno would not make that same mistake, he looked up at Whisperer who seemed ready for a fight.

"I will not fight you. You did not hurt Tommy. But that does not mean I like you, or that I will tolerate you taking Tommy without my permission." Techno looked down at Tommy, who's eyes held a knowing look, like he too would always remember this.

"But you are a hero. I am a villain." Whisperer whispered, shock in his voice as he stared at Techno.

"You won't ever have him while in your villain self. Never." Techno's voice had taken on a growl, the wind around him blowing slightly as Whisperer raised his hands up and nodded.

"Of course, I can reveal my civilian form to you if that is how I am able to see Tommy." Whisperer responded, Techno nodded as Tommy caught his own attention with the stars that surrounded him. Whisperer nodded, reaching up and unclipping the mask, starting at the base of his head and unclipping three different clips, and reaching up towards the top part of his head and unclipping three more.

The mask slipped off, and a brunette that Techno knew too well stood staring at him. Techno felt the shock and betrayal hit him like a freight train. Wilbur stood in front of him in Whisperer's attire, and Techno didn't know how to handle that.

"Ilbah! Ilbah!" Tommy bounced in Techno's arms, a smile on his face as tears hit Wilbur's eyes. The pain must have leaked through their bond, their familial bond beginning to ache as Techno took a deep breath.

"I'm sorry Tech, I am. I'm sorry." Wilbur tried to meet Techno's eyes. Techno didn't let that happen. He tucked Tommy close to his chest protectively and turned. He ran, leaving Wilbur behind as Tommy began to cry.

"Ilbah! Ilbah! Ecie, Ilbah!" Tommy cried out, but Techno wasn't hearing him. He rushed to the hero tower, only staying long enough to change and run home. He kept Tommy close to his chest, running his fingers through Tommy's hair to calm him down and keep him calm.

"I'm sorry Tommy, not yet. Not right now." Techno kissed the temple of Tommy, ignoring his offended face as the tears stayed in his eyes. The silver pained Techno, especially on Tommy. Not many are born from the Sun, Stars, and Moon, Techno was lucky to have Tommy placed with him. All of them have coloured tears, silver, gold or gray always pained Techno to see.

"Il...bah?" He asked, face contorting into a pained expression.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." Techno sat on his couch, holding Tommy close as the toddler began to sob. Wailing a sound so heart broken and painful that Techno felt something inside him break as he held him close.

"I'm sorry."
