Phil smiled as he watched over his hatchlings, his kids, his. They were safe and in his nest, his den, his home. The village behind him burned as screams sounded out, but he ignored that in favour of keeping his children asleep, calm, and safe. Tommy, the youngest, yawned tiredly, blinking his eyes open but falling back asleep when Phil lightly tapped his temple. He didn't want his kids awake yet. It was still so unsafe.

"Give. Them. Back." A voice growled out behind him, and Phil stood to turn and look at who dares challenge him for his kids. It was the green hoodie idiot that had been fighting him originally. He was flanked by the man in the blue shirt and the guy in the black long sleeve with white crop top. Phil tilted his head to the side, standing up for a moment before crouching protectively, possessively, in front of the sleeping children.

"Get away." Phil growled, voice low and dangerous. He was not below killing to keep his kids safe. The green hoodie stepped forward, a bow in his hands with an arrow pulled back and aimed at him. Phil continued to growl as the green hoodie continued to inch forward, slowly, as he looked around Phil for a moment. Was he trying to see the kids?

"Dream... be careful, you don't know what this monster can do." The one in the crop top muttered, trying to be only loud enough for 'Dream' to hear, but Phil's hearing was super and he growled lowly. He was not a monster, he was a father being protective of his kids.

"I know what I'm doing, Sapnap. Just... You and George remember what you need to do." Dream responded, keeping eye contact with Phil who obviously saw this as a challenge. Phil locked his attention on Dream as the others advanced, the deal that they had once made long forgotten by the Dragon Hybrid, who honestly was more Dragon than Human now.

"If you're sure..." George muttered, Phil didn't hear him as he advanced just as slowly as Dream was to him. He missed how Sapnap and George grabbed his kids as Dream engaged him in hand to hand combat, losing his bow when he first tried to shoot the hybrid who had scales covering his body.

"Come on, Dragon, let's dance." Dream muttered, lunged and pulled a small knife and tried to slash at Phil. Phil dodged and threw Dream backwards towards the forest and lunged after him, his mind on one thing and one thing only. Keep Dream away from his kids.

"Dream hurry!" Sapnap yelled out, but Phil missed it as Dream glanced behind him for a moment before lunging forward and swiping closer to Phil's stomach than what the hybrid would have liked as his claws caught the knife and pulled it from the Hunter's grasp and tossed it to the side as Dream threw a potion of invisibility down and disappeared.

"No!" Phil growled, low and very hostile as he looked around. He turned to grab his kids and escape, only to find them gone. The roar that escaped him shook every house in the village, and every house in the nine neighbouring villages.

"Where are my kids?" He roared as he spread his wings and took off to the sky, looking around with his enhanced vision but couldn't see them. Where were his kids? They were missing, why were his kids missing? No! Where are they?

Phil roared once more and swooped away, circling the village and searching every spot that he could see without having to search on the ground because that would be slower and he'll lose them.
