"I can't believe this! I just can't!" Wilbur yelled, Techno tried to ignore the words stinging his heart as he let Wilbur yell and yell and yell. Phil had taken Tommy to the park that day, but Wil had been grounded and couldn't go with. He seemed to have decided it was Techno's fault.

"Wilbur. Calm down and breathe." Techno tried to sooth the raging teen, but he didn't know how to. He wasn't the one that was good with emotions, and it was clear to the both of them. "I need you to breathe a little bit, okay?" Techno tried again, but that seemed to fire Wilbur up more.

"No! You aren't my father and you never will be!" Wilbur stopped himself, realisation and pain crossing his features as Techno took a couple steps backwards. When did Wilbur find out? He wasn't supposed to find out, not yet at least. "Wa-wait... I-I didn't... I'm sorry." Wilbur had tears well up in his eyes as Techno looked away from him.

"Please... just go to your room." Techno responded, his voice was a little under a whisper. Wilbur hesitated, but nodded and walked away.

When Techno heard his door shut, he fell to his knees and silently cried. Did he not do a good enough job? Was Phil, him and Tommy not enough? Techno didn't know, and for just a moment, he didn't want to.

Techno gasped away with coughs tearing themselves from his throat, Wilbur had been sleeping beside him in the chair in the room but snapped away as Tommy barely woke up from where he was napping on the couch.

Phil was quickly by his side and helping him sit up, trying his best to get the coughs to stop so he could breathe.

After some water, and a couple minutes of just trying to breathe, Techno looked around. His eyes threatened to shut on him and he realised it had been a dream. No, not a dream. He had had a nightmare, and things that Wilbur had said weren't true.

"Techno, Techno you okay?" Phil asked, and Techno nodded slightly. He was okay, he was fine. It was just a nightmare. A fever dream. Techno laid back down and let Phil run his fingers through his hair and lull him back to sleep.
