Hermione's POV

Right when we heard a shout we followed the sound and we ended up in the shores of the Black Lake.

But...

Why isn't Blaise here? The voice, it's definitely Blaise's. So where is he?

"Where's Blaise?" Drake asked, turning his head left and right, looking for his best friend.

"That was him, right?" Harry voiced out my exact thoughts from before and both Drake and I nodded our heads while looking at each other.

"Guys..."

Blaise! I knew it! We couldn't have been wrong.

We turned our heads around to talk to Blaise about what happened when we saw deatheaters beside him.

What the bloody hell is the meaning of this?

"Why hello, Potter and Granger!" That voice, Rodolphus Lestrange! How did he escape Azkaban? How did he enter the school's premises?!

He turned his head to the side. "And of course, little Draco Malfoy. My nephew! It's lovely to see you three in this fine evening!"

"How did you get out?!" Harry questioned. I can see his face being filled with dread and fear but, I know him too well. He didn't fear for his life. He feared for the lives of those who were taken along with the Hogwarts students.

"Oh? That wasn't really that hard!" Lestrange bragged.

"You wanna know how? Well, let me show you!" He swished his wand too fast for us to avoid and the next minute we found ourselves in what seemed like Lestrange's memory.

But how? Did he use a pensieve? But don't you need a basin for that?

After the silvery substance cleared in front of us, we saw Lestrange sitting in his cell in Azkaban.

"Yo! Here," a guard gave him what seemed to be like food.

Ever since the end of the war, the dementors were replaced with normal wizards. Dementors were exiled to another placed due to their connection to you-know-who and they couldn't be of any use to the Ministry.

The guard left, only leaving the food which Lestrange took. For some reason, he dugged into the porridge and right there was a wand, an unregistered wand.

Lestrange smirked. He casted a nonverbal spell that broke his chains allowing him to freely move. He pointed the wand towards the gate of his cell and it opened.

"I'm free! Free as a bird," he crazily exclaimed before freeing the rest of the deatheaters.

"Now that you're out, finish you're end of the bargain," another voice said. A familiar voice.

Blaise! Did he betray us? Was he spy?

"Hmm? You've got to learn how to have patience, kid! You'll get what you want sooner or later. For now, I need you to help us leave this island and get us a shelter," Lestrange replied, turning his head to Blaise.

"Fine! Then, I'll get what I want?" What exactly is what Blaise wants?

"Not yet. After that, you must help me take my revenge!" Lestrange grinned, placing a hand to Blaise's shoulder that Blaise quickly removed.

"What revenge?" Blaise asked, clueless.

"My revenge on Potter and his friends of course! The entire wizarding world too!"

Blaise's eyes widened and he took a step away from the deatheaters.

"No way! Are you trying to get me killed?!"

Lestrange apparated behind Blaise and pointed his wand to his neck. "No, no. But don’t you want to get them back?" Them? Who's them?

Blaise sighed and nodded. "Perfect! Now, enter Hogwarts. You'll be our spy from there and you'll help us to gain more members and lead us to victory!"

The memory ended from there. Everything was so confusing. How did Lestrange pull off all this with so little numbers? Who's the them Blaise and he were talking about? Where are their captives? But one thing was for sure, Blaise betrayed us...

But why?

...

Okay, this is lame and short. But I really just want to finish this book and get it over with. Thanks for reading! <3
