Chapter 11

💞Third Person's POV💞

The first boy called was Neville Longbottom. Neville was a tall wizard with a much built physique. You see if you saw him in his first year. You'd never think he'll become one of the hottest boys from Gryffindor house. He was paired with Hannah Abott, a Hufflepuff.

While the second boy that was called was Lucas Avery. His skin is sun kissed while his eyes are dark black. He got paired with Padma Patil, a Ravenclaw.

Both was shocked and was about to protest when the minister said, "The pairings are FINAL!". They had no choice but to sit down and Padma was about to cry.

On the other hand, Gregory Goyle was paired with Parvati Patil. Goyle was now a much fit and grown man than before. While Parvati, she was still the same. They were also not happy with each other. A Gryffindor and a Slytherin together? They thought it was ridiculous.

Harry Potter was called next. Who could ever forget him? The ever dashing boy who defeated You-Know-Who. His green eyes was anxious but scared at the same time as he fixed his black rounded glasses.

Harry's face was filled with nervousness. The entire room waited for his partner to appear. But Harry he was quite fine with just standing there alone.

But sadly for him, The liquid bubbled and a smoke came out from thin air. It appears he is paired with Cho Chang! Cho Chang decided to repeat her 7th year. She claimed that she wanted additional knowledge and that's why she came back.

Most students find it weird she came back because she'll still be taught the same as her last year but turns out she took special classes because she's training to be the new Charms Professor. You see, Professor Flitwick is going to move to America. There he will be teaching in Ilvermorny. Just for some new environment.

Or may be the law forced Cho to return like the other students? Did I mention young witches and wizards that are at the age of 20 and not married are affected by the law?

Cho was shocked but nevertheless just smiled at Harry and sat down. Harry smiled back at her. He looked okay but you can see it in his face how disappointed he was. He still wanted Ginny to be his partner.

Theodore Nott was called next and he was paired with Luna Lovegood. Nott didn't take it too well and stood up.

He shouted. "What?! That crazy Looney!".

So Hermione went to him, slapped him, and scowled at him, "Hey Nott! It's not like Luna likes you! You prat!"

Hermione was about to hex him when Luna stopped her.

She told Hermione, "It's okay Mione. I'm used to it. Besides violence is not the only way."

Luna then skipped to her chair happily while Theo sat beside her against his will.

Hermione sighed and came to her chosen sitting position. 'Luna is kind but she must be mistaken', Hermione thought.

She thought of same thing back before. But it turns out she's wrong. Luna's very nice. I might have changed my views about her but will Nott change?

The next one who was called was Ronald Weasley. He was paired with someone who he did not think he'll even get along with. Pansy Parkinson.

"Pug-face?!" He shouted.

Hell he was so shocked and mad he drew his wand but the voice of his brother interrupted and stopped him from something he'll regret so much.

He might have hated the girl but he didn't want his magic to be taken from him. He lives for magic and magic lives in him.

"My future sister-in-law is Pug-face?!" Bill Weasley screamed which made everyone look at him.

"No choice. I apologize. Continue," Bill said taking back his unspoken words and thoughts of Pansy.

Ron withdrew his wand and kept it in the left pocket of his robes. Ron and Pansy we're now both sitting but was still arguing. Slytherins and Gryffindors just purely hate each other.

The next boy was called and it was Cormac McLaggen. He repeated his 7th year due to not learning anything last time. At least that's what he said. But everyone knows he has an agenda behind it. He wanted to finally ask and get to know more of the war heroine. Hermione Granger.

"I know it's Granger!" He boasted loudly while smirking. He was standing tall and confident.

Hermione scoffed at him and said, "I rather my magic be taken away from me than marry a boastful, dim, and annoying too coward to be a Gryffindor."

Every Student at the hall laughed except Cormac who was mad at what she said. But they were immediately silenced by the Headmistress.

Unfortunately, Cormac McLaggen was paired with Millicent Bulstrode. But it was the best news Hermione have heard since the law was created. He was about to cry and Hermione. She smirked at him.

The next boy that was called was Blaise Zabini. A tall dark skinned wizard with a built physique from Slytherin house. He looked nervous but hid it well.

The smoke from the cauldron appeared the name "Ginerva Molly Weasley"

Everyone looked at Ginny. Ginny was shocked, her mouth hang open but she closed it again and remained silent unlike what everyone expected.

May be it was because she was speechless of the thought of being with Zabini or just like her brother did not want her magic taken away from her because of her sudden actions.

The next one was Draco Malfoy. He had a very pale skin color though he was tall and his eyes were grey. He looks calm and confident but you could see in his eyes that he is extremely nervous.

That cauldron will decide his fate that will forever be twisted. What if never gets to get along with the girl he is paired with? He's going to be doomed.

Then the cauldron appeared the name...

Yeah, I know I mumbled things. I just wanted to. Is that so wrong? If it is, then convict me for doing what I want. If this makes more nonsense. I don't care. I got that from some novel I was reading. The whole convict me thing that is.
