I got the wedding invitation in the mail. After everything I've done to them, I'm surprised they even considered me. Then it dawns on me. Tyler wouldn't. After what I said when Jack punched that counselor, he hasn't spoken to me. I've caught him staring and I know him well enough to know wants to be friends again, but his moral code and anxiety won't let him speak to me. I'm too much of a coward to say anything first.
So I come to the conclusion that Jack sent it without Tyler knowing. They confirm this suspicion when Tyler spots me at the reception and looks absolutely flabbergasted. Jack shoots me a thumbs up and leads Tyler away, speaking lowly. I know he's trying to smooth it all over but Tyler doesn't speak to me the entire night.
Even so, it's a gorgeous wedding. It's really a shame that Jack didn't go into interior design. The way Tyler looks around, Jack definitely surprised him with this.
I feel awful about how I treated them. I tried to be better last year but I couldn't do much. I've had a year to get past my issues and I'm doing pretty well.
Hopefully well enough to get our friendship back.
