"August it's not what it looks like," Nicki said as I rolled my eyes.

The guy looked back at me as Nicki grabbed my arm.

"I'll be right back Ty," Nicki said as the guy nodded mugging me.

I mugged him back as Nicki forcibly tugged my arm towards my car.

Mel walked alongside me as he stayed quiet.

"Why would you embarrass me like that,"Nicki asked looking at me.

"Why you here at the mall when your suppose to be at work."

She stayed quiet.

"Or dirty hoes like you don't know what to say when they get caught."

She slapped me as Mel jumped with a frighten look on his face.

"Don't ever call me a hoe in front of our son you disrespectful cunt, "Nicki said.

I rubbed my face.

"And to think I was gonna be stupid as always and take you back but I'm not,"she said taking off the engagement ring and throwing it at me.

"Take Mel to Sheila's and meet me at home at MY HOME in 30 ,"she said turning on her heel walking away.

I knew she was mad because she called my moms Sheila instead of Mama Sheila.

"What you do to her Dad,"Mel asked as I buckled him up.

"Mel not now , "I said .

"You in trouble Dad?"

"Yea Mel I am ,"I said buckling up.

"Who was that guy,"Mel asked.

"Mel not now,"I said again as he sighed.

I pulled up into our driveway as her car parked on the curb.

I got out as I pulled my pants up.

Nicki had reached the front door as she swung it open.

Her mascara had ran down her cheeks.

"How dare You humiliate me in front of a client, "she said as I walked in.

"You didn't say shit about him being a client nie. "

"How could I when you were being a rude son of a bitch."

"How when you were basically flirting with the nigga. "
