Chapter 13

Sick Muichiro: Day Six

"I'm so glad that tomorrow is gonna be the last day that I'm in bed." Muichiro groaned

The Hashira had just woken up, and he was already filled with energy

"Hmmm...I'm bored. I'm going to ask Shinobu if I could go outside."

Muichiro stood up from his bed and made his way to Shinobu's office

He knocked on the brown, wooden door, and Shinobu's friendly, smiling face answered

"Hi, Muichiro! So glad that your walking again! Do you need something of me?" Shinobu's exclaimed

Muichiro replied, cheerfully, "Well, I was asking if I could go outside, and visit Genya. Since he's always been visiting me."

Shinobu stared at him blankly

"Oh alright! What do you have to lose, and besides, I can't keep you here forever! Make sure to go easy, and don't be too active. It could result in you needing to stay an extra week in bed."

Muichiro bowed to his superior, and headed outside

"Wait, I don't even know where the Wind Estate is. Eh, I'll just try to remember as I walk." Muichiro mumbled

He began walking around, trying to find the Wind Estate(cuz he forgot the route lol)

"Right, left, left, Right?"

He tried that same pattern over and over but found himself walking in a circle

Muichiro stopped and took a breath

"Okay, maybe is right, left, right, left."

He began walking in those directions, and surprisingly, it led him right to the Wind Estate

"Hopefully Sanemi's not home." Muichiro's prayed

The Pillar walked to the door and knocked on it three times

After a bit, a tall, figure answered the door, and Muichiro's thanked god that it wasn't Sanemi

Genya was the one who answered the door, and when he saw Muichiro out of bed, he look dumbfounded

"Muichiro! H-Hi! I didn't expect for you to come! Come inside!"

Muichiro grinned, and the two went inside

"Don't worry, Nemi's not home, he's out with the Hashira." Genya reassured

Muichiro muttered, "Thank god."

They walked into Genya's room, and sat down on his bed

The two didn't talk, but just only became more awkward

"Hey Muichiro?" Genya asked to start the conversation

"Yeah?"

Muichiro at this point was staring at Genya at such interest

"Do you...have a crush on anybody?" Genya blurted

Muichiro turned bright red, "N-No! I don't!"

Genya wiped the sweat off his brow

"Why you ask?"

"Oh, crap. What's my excuse?"

"Uhm, just asking out of curiosity." Genya replied anxiously

Muichiro squinted his eyes and then the two burst into laughter

"I could talk for hours!" Muichiro stammered our whole laughing

"Me too!" Genya replied with a grin

~time skip~

"Thanks for being over, Mui! See you tomorrow!" Genya exclaimed as Muichiro headed out the door

Muichiro internally freaked out, and he started walking away

Until he bumped into a tall, muscular figure

"Watch where your going, pipsqueak! Godamn." The gruff voice sneered

Oh great, it's Sanemi

"Tch." Scoffed Muichiro as he walked away

"Why do I have this feeling around Genya? It's all warm and fuzzy. And I get really flustered around him."
