We had the rehearsal dinner at our house in one of the festive dining halls that had been decorated for the occasion. Lots of friends and family had come as well as some of my business partners.  I was dressed in an A-line sweetheart tulle dress which started at the top with a sequinned washed-out pink and faded out into a lovely shade of baby blue with butterflies designed on the skirt which I paired with light blue heels and some light makeup.

Tomorrow I was going to be Mrs Halstead and the thought made my heart race, I don't know if it was a good or bad thing. Jay remained glued to my side for the entire night and I'm glad so many of his friends were here to support us.

Connor then tapped his glass and we all turned to him, "sorry to interrupt everyone, but I wanted to make a small speech tonight. I'll admit, I was very surprised when Jay and Y/N first met and I'm not going to go into that too much. I nearly got a heart attack when they told Will and I that they were together," there were a few scattered laughs at that, "but I'm so glad that they found each other because their love is one of the purest things ever. I have never ever seen my sister as happy as when she is with Jay or loved and I know he'll take care of her always. They have been through hell together and they deserve all the joy in the world. I can't wait for the both of them to get married. To Y/N and Jay!"

Everyone cheered for us and my cheeks were splattered with a faint pink. I hugged my brother and kissed his cheek.

"Thanks for that bro," I whispered and he held me tighter.

The event went smoothly as always and before I knew it, I was whisked away by my bridesmaids and managed a chaste kiss on Jay's cheek.

It was still a little surreal to believe that I was getting married tomorrow. However, a part of me had been waiting for this moment my entire life. I was going to be Mrs Halstead tomorrow and the thought made all the little me's in my brain run around in circles and spontaneously combust. I soon fell into a restless slumber.
