⚠️Trigger Warning⚠️ • Swearing, mentions of animal abuse, mentions of cuts, mentions of alcohol

I concentrate on breathing, but mostly keeping my eyes on the road. I'm still pissed off by what happened. I hope the cops actually decide to do something about it.

"Hey, umm Tubbo, I need to tell you something..." Tommy suddenly says from beside me, drowning out my thoughts.

"What is it?" I reply back to him.

"I'll tell you, but you have to promise not to get mad right away and hear me out," he tells me.

"Okay, I won't," I reply.

"Promise?"

"Promise."

"So I got invited to a party..."

"Legal party?"

"Yep, no alcohol or anything like that," Tommy says, in a voice that shows the smile on his face.

"When, where, who, and why?" I reply. I sound like such a parent.

"Tonight, 9 to 2. At this person's place called Jose, Quackity's cousin. Quackity invited us. It's a yearly party they have as cousins but apparently Quackity and his cousins got into a big fight so he's gonna be bored at the party. So Jose told him he can invite people if he wants to, so he invited us, and he can just sleepover right after and we can hang out all day tomorrow."

"Uhh, I don't know. Give me time to think for awhile," I reply, unsure.

"But... never mind, okay, just tell me before seven, so I can tell Quackity."

"Yeah I will." I reply as I drive into the parking lot of the pet store.

Finding a parking space wasn't that hard to do since there were only like five cars in the parking lot. I put the gear into park and turn off the car. I open my door and get out. I hear Tommy do the same thing. I go to the end of the car and wait until I see him, so I can lock it.

"Umm, Tubbo. I don't think Boo can go into the store looking like he just came out of a dog fight," Tommy tells me when he comes up to me. He's still holding Boo, who is yawning. I can't tell if cats are scary or cute when they yawn.

"Well, we can't leave him in the car," I pause for a second, thinking. If no one can see his injuries, no one will question it. I look over at Tommy hoping to get an idea. I had it,"Tommy, give me Boo."

"What? No? Why?"

"You'll see, just give him to me," I say, holding my arms out.

He reluctantly hands Boo to me. Boo doesn't mind.

"Take off your hoodie."

"Why?"

"You'll see. Just do it."

"Okay..."

He takes off his hoodie and hands it to me. I kneel down on the concrete and set Boo down. I open the hoodie in front of him. He looks over at me, confused.

"Go in Boo. It's okay."

He goes into the hoodie until his head pops out the other side. I pick him up, get up and hand him to Tommy.

"See, now we can go inside."

"I should really stop denying your ideas."

"Yeah maybe you should."

"Okay whatever. One day I'll be smarter then you."

"Maybe, but you'll never be faster than me," I say and start running to the store.
