8. 6 years later

It has been 6 years since Hermes and Hera last saw each other and by now Hera was feared everywhere, except New Jersey. Hera was 23 now and she was the leader of the Switchblades and the Tattoos, she had cops and lawyers in the palm of her hand and controlled the city. Hermes made quite a name for himself and was a student at a university in Canada. He got married when he was 20 but they divorced a year later because he wasn't really in love with her.

Phone call :

Hermes - hello?

Tobias - hey son I . . . uh . . .

Hermes - what's wrong?

Tobias - your mother . . . your mother died yesterday morning

Hermes - what? *begins to have tears*

Tobias - her funeral is tomorrow at 5:00

Hermes - I'll be there later today

Hangs up :

Hermes puts his phone down and cries over the loss of his mother.

Phone call :

Hera - hello?

Tobias - hey Hera

Hera - what's wrong? I can tell something wrong by the sound of your voice

Tobias - Tris died yesterday morning

Hera - what? *begins to have tears*

Tobias - she was like a mother figure for you and I know you are taking this pretty hard

Hera - when is the funeral?

Tobias - tomorrow at 5:00

Hera - I'm coming over right now

Tobias - Hera it's pretty late

Hera - Tobias! you shouldn't be alone during this awful time

The next day :

It was the day of the funeral and everyone was showing their support by being there. Hermes showed up at the funeral and when he walked in he saw his father, but there was a strange woman next to him who had tattoos on her arms and one on her neck that said "Fight not love". He walked up to his father who was sitting down and the strange woman was next to him with two other girls.

Hermes - Dad?

Tobias - hey Hermes . . . you remember Hera and her sister right?

Hermes - Hera? Is it you?

Hera - yeah, yeah it's me

Hermes - hi Olympia *smiles* and who is this?

Hera - this is Athena . . . my daughter

Hermes - you have a daughter? How old is she?

Hera - she's 6 years old

Hermes - wow . . . looks like you make a good mother

Athena - Mommy who is this ?

Hera - this is . . . this is mommy's friend

Hermes - friend? *smiles* Is that what we're gonna call it?

Tobias - you guys . . . not here . . . it's Tris's funeral please

Hera - I'm sorry . . . um . . . I'm not feeling too good *stands up* I think I'm going home

Tobias - if you want... I could watch Athena.

Hera - are you sure?
