The Flash vs Nexus

I looked out at the city, unbeknownst to the few stragglers here and there in the nighttime. I'd escaped from the somehow pressuring aspects of everyday life- 

"Nexus?" I flicked my hair out of the way as I came to gaze into stark blue eyes framed by the red helmet of the Flash. 

"What're you doing in this neck of buildings, Scarlet Speedster?" I sighed, doing a kick up into a standing position. 

"Came to see the other metahero in town." He replied as swiftly as his name, laughing. I raised an eyebrow, walking towards him slowly, boots clicking on the stone roof. 

"Having powers doesn't give you the liberty to think you're at superhero level yet." 

"You're talking to the person who moves at unfathomable speeds." 

"I've seen you run. You clock at 650mph. Not fast enough." I retorted, poking him in the chest. I seemed to give him a boost of confidence, so he gently moved my hand out of the way. 

"Fast enough to beat you." I raised both of my eyebrows, letting a contemptuous giggle fall from my lips.  

"Oh, really?" I stepped towards him, folding my arms.

"Yes, really." He shot back, returning the favour. 

"Let's make this interesting. If we fight, right now, whoever wins is the better hero. Deal?" I put my hand out, and I saw his gloved one shake it. 

"Deal." As soon as he said that, I twisted around and flipped him over my head, hearing a loud thud when he hit the ground. However, a bolt of lightning dashed underneath my feet and I was knocked over, and Barry was standing above me with a smug smirk. 

"I think I won this." He chuckled, but I wiped the smile off his face when I retaliated with a spinning sweep into a pose position, getting up. 

"Fool me once, shame on you." I cocked my head sideways, "Fool me twice? Not gonna happen." 

I held out my palm for him to grasp, but when he reached his hand to grab it, I clenched my fist and jerked my arm, releasing an energy blast that hit his stomach. However, he grabbed my foot and yanked me down, climbing on top of me and pinning me down by my stomach. His face was positioned above mine, and to my surprise, he was panting. 

"You know, if this was a movie, we'd probably kiss." While he was confused, I seized the chance and pulled him down, letting our lips collide hotly. The Flash's eyes widened for a moment, hands on my arms and trying to push me away, but found that my lips were too hard to resist. He succumbed to the feeling and kissed me back, moving his hands from my arms to my stomach to grip my waist. 

Agonisingly slow. 

Wait. 

This was Barry. Not the Flash. 

I'm kissing Barry... who is the Flash. 

But he doesn't know who I am. 

This was mind-boggling. However, I couldn't help but feel that The Flash/Barry was an excellent kisser, and I couldn't help but succumb to the tantalising waves of temptation too. He pulled me towards him, flush against his chest. Then I remembered why I was doing this. He pulled away, pupils blown wide. Then I seized the chance and pushed him off me, spinning on the floor and using that momentum to knock him back by kicking him hard, my super strength about to throw him off the roof, but I quickly stood up and conjured an energy lasso, winding it around his wrist to keep him on the building. 

"Lesson 1: Don't let anyone distract you. No matter how pretty they may be." I lectured, pulling him back on the building. 

"Lesson learned." He replied, bowing a little. I smirked, but faltered a little when he got closer. 

"Here's your prize..." I felt his lips connect with mine again, and the passion nearly made my knees buckle. When he pulled back, I could see my breathless state matched his. 

"I'll see you around, Nexus." 

"Touché, Scarlet Speedster." I replied wittily before using an energy blast to launch myself away. When I got to a rooftop, I touched my lips, smiling a little. 

He was a good kisser.
