While Gilter may be arrogant, he isn't dumb to the point of heading straight into battle without a plan. While flying, he suddenly felt a presence below, and as he looked down, an arrow made of mana was just in front of him.
Opening his Gate Of Babylon, he sent a lance to counter it. He stopped moving forward and finally took a better look at his attacker. A single man with tan skin, and white hair. He was wearing black armor with red clothes above.
"Oh? A sneak attack on a king? I expected no less from a low life like you! You must be Archer!" Gilter yelled, opening more Gates as the man prepared another shot.
"That aura filled with malice. You must be Avenger. Don't worry, I will atone for your sins."

Gilter shot several blades while the Archer known as EMIYA scanned, recreated, and shot the very same blades, shocking Gilter.
The collusion created a wave of explosions, shaking the field. EMIYA started to analyze the situation.
'This man...he's strong. All those blades are not normal. But if this is his special ability, then...I'm very lucky to be the one against him.'
Meanwhile, Gilter was not having thoughts as calm as his.
'What happened? My blades got countered? By him? Does he have something similar to my Gates? No, wait...the weapons he used, they were the same as mine but felt different...He didn't use his weapons...he copied mine!'
"You dare to steal my own treasure! Prepare! Even though you won't die, I'll eliminate you in the most painful way! FAKER!!" Gilter shouted, earning him a smirk from the hero of justice.
"Heh, I would like to see you try!"
Opening his Gates even further, a rain of black swords and lances dived down towards EMIYA. Dark lightning surrounded them.
