The date was going good. It got a little awkward after the last word was said. I don't think either of us know how to strike up a conversation. 

"So Wheeler, what compelled you to ask me out tonight?" I questioned. I was genuinely curious on why he asked me out on such a short notice when he's supposed to be in California. He kinda just looked at me and smiled, thinking for a second.

"Well, I think I've had a crush on you for a while, but I just haven't had the balls to tell you." He kind of whispers the last part and fidgets with his fingers as he said it.

"Aww, you flatter me Wheeler," I've honestly mainly seen him as a brother half the time, but I think deep down I do have a small crush on him too. "I honestly thought it was only going to be you and El."

"For a little while, so did I, but then I saw you Y/N, it changed a lot of things." He smiled softly at me as he said so. It made my heart flutter slightly and my cheeks heat up.

"Damn Wheeler, you sure know how to make me blush a lot" I chuckle as he looks at me.

"What can I say, I suppose I'm just a natural at making you blush Y/N" He replies with a funny accent. I honestly think that he's adorable. 

After a while of chit chat, 8:40 P.M rolls around. 

"Mike, although I hate to say, I think I should start heading home, it's 8:40 and it takes a while to get to my trailer." I tell him sadly.

"Shit, you're right, and Eddie wants you back at 9:00 on the dot." I nod and we both get up, slightly fast walking to the exit and laughing at each other as we both trip over our selves from rushing. 

By the time we make it outside of the mall, it's 8:45. Eddie's going to kill us, especially Mike. We both get on his bike and he pedals as fast as he can to be able to get home on time.

Mike's POV

It was 8:55, we only had five minutes to get to her trailer. Eddie is going to absolutely destroy me.  Y/N was giggling the whole time because she said it would be funny to see Eddie's angry face. I'm not sure why she said it would be funny, but her giggle could make me smile anytime. 

"Y/N, I don't think we're going to make it on time!" I tell her over the wind hitting us.

"It's okay!" She replies, "I'll just explain to him that we lost track of time because.. uhm I don't know I'll figure it out though okay?!" We both chuckled as we finally got to her house. 

It was 9:00 on the dot the second we parked. She ran up her porch while I watched her smiling. But then she came back down really quickly and hugged me. It almost knocked me off my bike. I hugged her back of course.

"Thank you for taking me out, I had a good time Wheeler," She smiled as she pulled away, and to my surprise, she came in and kissed me. The Y/N Munson kissed me. Although it was just a peck on the lips, it was still amazing. She pulled away smiling and blushing.

"Goodnight Wheeler" She smirked as she walked into her house. I just sat there in slight shock as she walked away.

"Goodnight Y/N. . ." I mumbled as she went inside. I sat there for a few seconds, processing what just happened.
