Y/n sat on the picnic table right in front of Eddie's trailer, a blanket wrapped around her. She couldn't even focus on the officer's multiple questions, the fear that ran through her blood was overbearing.

"Ma'am?" The officer called to her.

"Y-Yeah?" Y/n answered, finally being pulled out of her thoughts.

"Do you know where Mr.Munson is?" He asked.

"Eddie? N-No I don't, why?" Y/n defensively asked, staring down the cop.

"Do you think he has something to do with this? Tell me you're joking?! Eddie would- Eddie would never do something like this!" Y/n shouted, getting the attention from officers and residents nearby.

"Ma'am please relax. Mr. Munson is a number one suspect right now, multiple witnesses said to have seen the girl with him in his trailer last night, he was the last person to see her alive. And he did flee the scene," the officer said.

Y/n didn't respond, she just sat in silence.

The cop let out a sigh and closed his notepad, "you can go home now. Get some rest, I have no more questions for you," he said, giving the girl a pat on the shoulder then walking away.

Y/n continued to sit in silence, she knew this wasn't Eddie. She's known him for so long, this wasn't Eddie. But whoever it was, does no show mercy. They didn't recognize Chrissy's body yet so y/n had to find Eddie, and fast.

Later that morning: Dustin's house

"Chrissy? Are you sure?" Dustin asked.

"Yes, she was in her cheerleading outfit, the same thing she was in when I saw her with Eddie," Max said.

"Have you told the cops?!" He alertly asked.

"No, but...I can't be the only one who saw them together," Max said.

"No way, Eddie the freak and Chrissy the cheerleader? no way," Dustin paced around the room.

"I know but the news hasn't revealed his name or anything but I bet he's their number one suspect right now," Max said.

Dustin shook his head in a repeated "no" motion, "NO! IT WASN'T EDDIE! EDDIE WOULDN'T DO THAT!" He shouted.

"And how do you know that?!" Max shouted back.

"BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW EDDIE LIKE I DO!" He screamed.

Their intense argument was interrupted by a sudden knock on Dustin's front door. Dustin angrily sped walked to the door and opened it with much aggression.

"Y/n?" Dustin surprisingly asked.

The girl didn't let the boy finish his thought before she barged into his room, eyeing Max.

"you know," y/n said, giving Dustin a stare.

"Yeah, Max came to tell me," he said.

Max stared at them, "I saw him with her y/n, there was a loud scream and then he ran out of the trailer,"

"It wasn't Eddie," y/n said in a chilling tone.

"We can't rule it out," Max argued.

"Yes we can!" Dustin shouted.

"Dustin!" Max screamed at him.

"You don't know him Max! When we got to high school Lucas made all of his sports friends, but Mike and I? No one was nice to us, no one besides Eddie," Dustin's face softened.
