The party was going smooth for everyone except Jin, Raven and Claire. Those three were upset for obvious reasons but that didn't stopped Claire from pestering Namjoon who just kept trying to avoid his mom's angry stares.
"Miss Sampson!" A voice behind Y/N called her name making her turned around.
"Ummm.... You're?" She asked the unknown man. There was an another man and a woman in their late 20s.
"Allow me to introduce ourselves. I'm Lee Sung-yoel. This is my brother Shin Woo-hyun and his fiancée Yi Seul-bi.
I believe you were expecting us!" Sung-yoel spoke with a charming smile.
"My p.a!" She exclaimed loudly earning small giggles from the three. "I'm very sorry for not recognising you but can I ask something?" A hesitation was clear in her voice.
"Please do" Woo-hyun gave her a warm smile.
"I don't want to come out rude but why do I need three assistants." Y//N tilted her head in confusion and Seul-bi took her hands in hers.
"Trust us. I know you find it hard to but we've been trained to work for you. It can be overwhelming to work with someone double your age. So we've been appointed to assist you."
"Thank you very much. It would be a delight to work with you guys. Please go ahead and enjoy the night. And Merry Christmas to you all." Y/N wished them and turned back to her friends.
"Woah! You're the first among us to join your family business." Jimin squealed in excitement. "Gosh you already have your personal assistants not one but three!" Yoongi gasped dramatically and Taehyung back-hugged her and pouted "Noona, we want party!!!!"
They all cheered and chanted "Party! Party! Party!" She chuckled and said "Okay deal. On my baby's birthday?"
Namjoon put both his arms around Yoongi's and Hoseok's shoulder and sighed dramatically "I miss my best friend already!"
Soon after a very elegant looking women in her mid-40s entered the room in a jet black gown, earning praises from the guests. She was none other than Suzanne Carson. Her stepmother and biological parent to Laura and Derek, her step-siblings.

Y/N didn't bother to go greet her. Noticing the look on Y/N's face, Suzanne herself went to her and her friends. "Hi there darling! Won't you greet me or introduce me to your friends?"
"Why would I do that? You're no one to me!" Y/N replied with no emotion.
"Come on, don't be shy! I'm your mom dear." Suzanne spoke with a wide smile.
The boys and Claire only stared at them in confusion, except for Namjoon and Raven. The two of them knew about the ugly relationship between Suzanne and Y/N.
"You are?" Y/N frowned at her. "And I here I thought my mum's been dead for 15 years and you're the mistress to my father!" She exclaimed dramatically making others gasp at them. They never expected her to be bitter.
