[READ THE AUTHOR'S NOTE IF YOU'RE CONFUSED ON HARRY]
This book is based off my first book, No Sound.
HARRY
Two years. Two and a half years to be exact.
That's how long it's been since I moved out of a town I once lived in. I swore to God and everyone else I would never turn back, or hell, even think of the awful name of a town called Doncaster. It was my hell at the time. But I've changed. I've grown and learned to slightly forgive---if I should even say that. By forgive, I mean I never even think about what happened.
"Harry?" My mum asked as she nudged me on the shoulder, knocking me out of my thoughts.
"Mm? Yes, I'm sure." I said as I tried to blankly remember what she had said.
She giggled, "I asked if you have all your stuff packed."
"Oh. Locked and loaded." I said with a grin, causing her to let out a chuckle.
"Are you sure you don't want me to go with you?" She asked as a worried expression came onto her face.
I sighed, "Yes, mummy. I, a nineteen year old male, am sure I don't want you to come to college with me." I said in a mockingly tone.
She rolled her eyes, "Harry, you know what I mean. I just," she paused for a moment, "Don't feel comfortable letting you go to a town where you left because of a-"
"Don't say it." I strictly said without eyeing her. I can't believe she would bring this up on my day. I gulped, "I think I should head on now. I'd like to get there soon." I said as I stood up.
What happened wasn't that awful, I was just a silly teenage boy who thought I was loved and in love, when really I was just mistaken. It was a very short relationship, I can't remember how long it lasted but it wasn't more than a month, but he was my first boyfriend. The first one out of my family to show they loved me and cared about me. But it was all just an act. And I'm okay with that.
Why am I completely fine with that? Because he taught me not to trust too easily. He taught me not to believe everything anyone says, and that a boy whose name starts with the letter L will always fuck you over. I must give him a hand though, he inspired me to be who I am today, and although I may be slightly fucked up--- as that's what my friends and some family members tell me--- I made some major changes in my life. Major.
"Harry." She said as she reached out and grabbed my arm. She stopped for a moment, trying to find something to say to me, I'm guessing. "Did you pack your hearing aid thingys?"
I let out a chuckle, "Obviously, mother. I'm wearing them right now." I said as I rolled my eyes. I looked over at the time and sighed, "Look, mum. I do have to go. I'll make sure to call you when I get there, okay?" I said as I started heading towards the front door. My bags were already in my car.
"Okay." She said uneasily as she followed behind, "Please be careful." She said, leaning in and giving me hug. When I pulled away, she gave me a kiss on the cheek with tearful eyes. "I love you."
"I love you too, but I got to go." I said as I opened the door and began to walk out. "Goodbye, mummy! I'll call you soon, I promise! Love you!"
"I love you too!" She yelled back as she pushed her back against the side of the door, crossing her arms. I could hear her sigh from where I was standing before she shut the door with yet again, tearful eyes.

HARRY CAN HEAR. YES. (hint the book title "Sound") Although some of you guys will not like this, but it will be easier on me to write. Unless you guys want me to take a few months to update. Lol.
This obviously won't be that good for a few chapters but it's a beginning <3
