"Abuela!" Isabela calls from the hall. "Come quick!"
Señora Alms came rushing out of her room. She found Isabela at a door next to her room.
"A new door?" She asks confused. But we don't have any children of age yet!" Abuela called for her children. "Julieta! Pepa!"
The two women came running.
What is it mama?" Pepa asked.
"We have a new door but I don't think we have any children of age?"
"We could try Mirabel again." Julieta suggested.
"Mirabel!" Señor Alma called for her.
Mirabel came running but slouched back when she saw the door.
"We are going to try again." Julieta urged her daughter towards her Abuela, who held the Miracle Candle.
Mirabel read her for the candle and then for the door. Nothing happened.
"How can thus be?" Señora Alan said. There are big other of age children. In our family.
