About a day or so before the field trip for 1-A all of the teachers sat at their desks grading papers, or one student's paper(s) for that matter. Aizawa seemed to be the only one not grading- other than the teachers that didn't have the boy in class- and was taking in the other teachers rubbing their eyes in frustration with great amusement.
"How can this kid write full paragraphs of amazing English when the others can barely say 'hi' to each other in it?" Hizashi Yamada (or Present Mic) asked in amazement and exasperation as he skimmed through the article about the English language that was written out in Midoriya's neat handwriting.
Ectoplasm shook his head as he graded the kid's math. "Not sure, but if I hadn't seen him working on his math I might have thought he got an advanced or older student to do it, " disbelief lined his tone. "Maybe he has an analysis Quirk?" He asked out loud after a moment of silence.
Aizawa snorted and grumbled something about teachers not reading their files. "Can't, he's quirkless." Shock ran through all of the teachers and Nezu chuckled from where he had dropped down onto Nemuri's -otherwise known as Midnight- desk.
"Seems like I need to talk to him, he did get first on the exams and is the first Quirkless student in UA, " Nezu spoke with glee lining his tone, a mischievous sparkle in his eyes. "Oh God, " Aizawa groaned before continuing to talk.
"He's a curious kid, fights with skill, and can definitely use his analysis to fit his needs. He's a problem child though, has ADHD and is really skittish when not fighting, probably has Autism too, " Aizawa paused for a moment, thinking.
Just because he had ADHD is not the reason he's a problem child. Aizawa could tell just by looking at him and the explosive blond Katsuki that they are trouble magnets. But adding the ADHD, fighting skills, and Autism, Aizawa wouldn't be shocked to discover that Midoriya might have been an acting Vigilante at some point.
"I think we might do a home visit, make sure he's not abused for being Quirkless, Iida did mention to me that he had on a lot of bandages when they changed into their hero suits." All of the teachers nodded in agreement. If Nezu and Aizawa took an interest in this kid he was most likely one heck of a student.
......
Aizawa soon announced the USJ field trip to the students but Izuku couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was going to happen, lurking just around the corner. Hitoshi sat next to Izuku on the bus, he was the only one that Izuku ever even felt comfortable around, since they grew up and texted each other almost nonstop every night.
Hitoshi glanced at the smaller boy as he checked over everything on his hero suit, making sure it was all in working order. "You alright, Izuku?" Hitoshi asked, crushing the feeling of wanting to call Izuku green bean.
The entire class had learned that Izuku was quirkless that morning, with Bakugo shouting it out for the whole class to hear. Yet, to Izukus's surprise, none of the kids seemed to mind and still respected him even if they did want to go a little bit softer on him in training now.
Izuku nodded slowly. "I have a bad feeling but it could be nothing, " he explained. "You should tell Aizawa-Sensei it could actually mean something, " Hitoshi offered, having had the same feeling since they left the campus. Izuku made sure to take deep breaths and calm himself, tapping his foot against the ground, unsettled.
He needed to focus so that if a fight was happening he could actually help, not be a useless Deku. All too soon they left the safety of the bus and Izuku told Aizawa about his gut feeling as the other students trailed inside. Aizawa warned him to keep his eyes out for anything suspicious because more often than not, gut feelings we're right.
