Silence rang out as the villains were captured but Izuku knew something was going to go wrong, it always did with AFO. Izuku was relieved when one of the heroes took his dad so that they could get him to the hospital as quickly as possible he wouldn't be alive if they couldn't.

Izuku tried to tell All-Might that AFO wouldn't be done but the hero didn't listen and simply told him they were here to rescue him. Izuku kept talking until he barfed slime out of his mouth of course. That part was disgusting.

Looking around at where he landed he noticed that the place was destroyed. Guessing by the quirk that was used Izuku assumed it was the doing of AFO and he would be around somewhere. Izuku noticed that he wasn't the only one that was teleported and noticed the villains were there too.

While he knew he couldn't use his new quirk, not knowing the limits and all, he could go old school. Looking off to his right he picked up a knife and prepared himself. Dabi and Kurogiri were still unconscious but Izuku didn't know how long that would last and knowing his luck, not very long.

With that, he started defending himself against Toga and Shigarakis attacks. The last two villains were slowly getting up having been thrown off by the random teleportation so Izuku wouldn't have much time before he was defending against four villains.

Getting distracted for a moment Izuku glanced over to where a slab of a previous building still stood, meeting two familiar purple eyes. It was a moment too long as Shigaraki grabbed his wrist, forcing him to drop the knife as the decay started. Reacting quickly Izuku lashed out and gave Shigaraki a roundhouse kick to the side of the head.

"Izuku!" His head snapped up at the call of his name and watched as Bakugo and Todoroki launched Hitoshi and Iida over to him, Hitoshi's hand outstretched. Izuku let a small smile grace his features and jumped while powering part of his quirk into it. Grabbing Hitoshi's hand Izuku registered the flicker of surprise in Hitoshi's face before he grasped his hand more firmly.

Mid-air he was embraced by Hitoshi tightly. Knowing he was finally safe Izuku buried his head into Hitoshi's chest and shut his eyes tightly while wrapping his legs around Hitoshi's torso.

Hitoshi kissed Izukus forehead as he carried him through the crowd. While he never wanted to let Izuku out of his sight or go he couldn't ignore the fact that the greenette was still bleeding. So they set off to find a trusted pro hero, luckily and Hitoshi figure purposefully they found Aizawa. Hitoshi wasn't surprised the man had taled them.

Upon arriving at the hospital Hitoshi had to pry Izuku off of him. It was specifically a hospital built for heroes so that the press and everyone else couldn't get in. Izuku had fallen into a comatose state and developed a fever. Hitoshi thought that it was odd considering Izuku was fine a couple of minutes ago. Finally getting him off the handed him over to the doctors.

Letting him go led to them pacing for hours, waiting for the doctors to let them know what was going on. As far as they could see besides his wrist and looking beat up Izuku didn't have many wounds. Iida, Momo, and Kirishima left soon before about midnight struck. After another hour they were allowed to go inside the room.

While the teens went inside Aizawa was pulled aside by the doctor. The doctor, Dr. Akai as his nametag read, was looking through some files. Aizawa hazed at the doctor worriedly while stuffing his hands in his pocket.

"This is Izuku Midoriya, son of Hisashi Midoriya correct?" Akai asked as he glanced up at Aizawa. Aizawa nodded and Akai continued. "Legally you are the guardian of Izuku Midoriya should anything happen to Hisashi Midoriya?"

Again Aizawa nodded, not liking where this was headed already. Akai met his eyes with a look of pity as he closed the files. "Due to the extent of his injuries, we're sorry to inform you that Hisashi Midoriya passed away ten minutes ago," Akai said.

Bowing his head Akai left Aizawa in the hallway for the sake of privacy. Aizawa stood rooted in the same spot, shock rocketing through him. Aizawa shook his head, for now, he would focus on his students the grief would come later. He had to figure out just how to tell Izuku the news.

As expected Izuku was still out when the others woke up in the morning. Hitoshi, Todoroki, and Bakugo were the only ones to stay behind and had slept at the hospital for a night. Unsurprisingly they were all stiff from sleeping in the chairs. Well, Aizawa wasn't but he was used to sleeping on the floor.

Izukus file broke and the doctor said that within about two more sessions of a healing quirk he should be awake. Everyone was shocked when Akai told them the fever was caused by a forced quirk manifestation. Hitoshi sighed and gazed at Izuku, he wanted everything to go back to what it was before the attack on the training camp. He longed for the feeling of Izukus warm hand in his, clutching it tightly.

"I have news," Aizawa said, interrupting the silence of them all staring at the green bean for a moment. The air seemed to shift into something tenser when he said that. "When Midoriya wakes up he will probably ask for his father first thing. When he does this I need one of you to get me if I'm not already in here," Aizawa paused to look at each and every one of them in the eye.

"The reasoning for this is that Hisashi Midoriya passed away yesterday night due to an injury," Aizawa finished with a deep breath. Hitoshi was shocked, not wanting to believe that the man who raised him almost as much as his own parents, was dead but not wanting to voice these thoughts. It seemed Bakugo had the same thoughts but decided to voice his.

"You expect me to believe that? The old man would never leave the nerd behind like this," Bakugo scoffed his eyes covering his hair. Aizawas eyes darkened at that statement. "Bakugo I understand what you mean," Aizawa started but he was cut off by Bakugo.

The blond stood up, anger showing fully on his features. "No, you don't understand what it'll do to him when he finds out that his second parent had died!" Balugo shouted before his voice died down. Aizawa stayed silent and contemplated what to say before Hitoshi was the one speaking up.

"We won't let him slip away this time," Hitoshi said, gripping his hands into fists in his lap. "If he made it this far he can do it again with us by his side," Hitoshi said more firmly as his eyes stayed on Izukus form. Todoroki nodded in agreement. Since Izuku helped him he felt as if it was his duty to return it.

Aizawa rubbed the bridge of his nose as he always did. He still had to tell Mic that they now had a kid now, not that the blond would mind. "Legally I'm his parent now, therefore we all know he will be well taken care of," Aizawa said before crawling into his famous sleeping bag.

"Now, I want all of you to go home and take a shower maybe get rest. When you come back go get food together," Aizawa instructed. The other two did as he said but Todoroki stayed behind. Aizawa didn't question it as it was probably because of Endeavor but that was a can of worms he didn't want to open right now. Not with everything else.

Sending a quick text to Mic Aizawa told him to come to Izukus hospital room so he could explain things. Mic arrived relatively quickly and by the time he did Hitoshi and Bakugo had dragged Todoroki out to eat. They could talk mostly in peace.
