It was quite hectic to Anidita nowadays. They were busy with respective cases from past few weeks. Meanwhile court kept on delaying the announcement for Bondita's case, now she needs one strong reason to solve the case.
On that evening, Bondita was in study room with a chalk in her hand seriously working on the case. Kaka, Sampoorna ma, Binoy, Somnath, Shaswati went to Rangoon for a marriage. Bihari and koyili didi were in home. At night, Anirudh came home after meeting with Barristers. Bhari babu was still waiting outside the study room.
Kya hua bihari, Bondita ne abhi tak nahi khaya hai...."
"Nahi chote maalik... bahu Rani shaam se ab tak yaha hai... na kuch peeya, na khaya...''
"Theek hai me khilaunga Bondita ko... Table me rakh do me aata hun.."
"Theek hai maalik..."
Bondita finally gets the reason and feels happy and proud. She closes her book and turns towards clock and finds its 10 at night. She rushed and there comes a man with fresh night suit and pleasent face holding tray with food.
"Pati babu, aap aagaye.. Me ne nahi dekha..."
"Baitho Bondita..."
"Pati..."
"Mmm... Tumhare prashn baad me... Ab khana Khao... Chalo me hi khilata hoon..."
Anirudh mixes food and feeds it to Bondita.
"Aap ne khaliya pati babu...?''
"Haa meeting ke baad nashtha karliya humne..."
"Accha meeting kaise hua..."
"Haa meeting tho bohot accha hua... Viceroy ne permission diya hai... Kal se kaam shuru ho raha hai... Ab se paani ke liya gaaon vaalon ko door nahi jana padega..."
"Yeh toh bohot acchi baat hai pati babu... Sab gaaon valen kush hue honge..." She proudly gazes at Anirudh, while completing the dinner.
Anirudh was about to get up and then notices, Bondita constantly looking at him..
"Kya hua Barrister Bondita... Kya dekh rahi ho..."
"Mera guroor,junoon... Ko dekh rahi hun..."
Anirudh smilingly turns towards her and pecks a kiss on her forehead.
She leans on his shoulder and closes eyes...
Anirudh also stays for a bit and then asks "utho Bondita... Kab tak yeha bhethogi... Chalo..."
Bondita doesn't respond to him, which he understands she has fallen asleep.
He makes her to sleep on his shoulders.. Bondita slightly moves and adjusts herself.
Anirudh's face fills with a grin looking at his 25
year-old lady sleeping like a 5 year-old baby. He puts her hair back on her ear and pats her.
Anirudh to himself... "Aajkal bohut kaam karna par raha hai Bondita ko, usko aaram karne ki waqt hi nahi mil raha hai... Jab uska case pura hoga, me usko kahi acche jaga lejaaunga..."
