The next week finally Bondita wins case. It was her 50th case, upto now, there's no case where she had lost, she stood confidently the victory torch everytime. The judge gave announcement, everyone applauded and congratulated Bondita. Having a 1000 volt bright smile she marched towards Anirudh's desk. She goes and checks but doesn't find Anirudh.
"Kaha gaye pati babu, subha hum dono ayethe par ab kaha gaye..."
She goes to their common friend Barrister Parasuram chaterjee to ask whereabouts of Anirudh.
"Mujhe nahi pati hai Bondita ji... Me bhi abhi ayaa hoon mere client ke ghar se..."
"Achha teek hai... Thank you"
She checks all around the court and goes to parking space, meanwhile watchman comes and tells that Anirudh has completed work and went to home.
"Chale gaye.... teekh hai ji thank you"
She deliberately thinks what made Anirudh to suddenly go, and with that goes by a rickshaw to home.
There's a car with 2 suitcases outside the mansion,
"Kaka sasur ji, sasur ji, sampoorna maa aa gaye..." and rushes into houses and finds no one. She checks all the house and goes to her bedroom. There she finds a person in a formal kurta packing her handbag.
"Kon hai a chor, Bina bataye aagayi aur Bondita ke bag ko kya kar raha hai... Haa???..."
Anirudh turns with a soft smile and replies,
"wahi chor jisne aapke dil ko churaya..."
She blushes and asks about everyone. Anirudh tells her that everyone were still enjoying vacation and will be coming after a week.
"Mein ne Bihari aur Koyili ko bhi chutti diya hai..."
"Par kyun....?"
"Barrister Bondita ji... Aapkae tark ko me baad me pura karunga... Ab aap jaldi se tayyar hojao... Hum choti si vacation pe jaa rahe hai ..."
"Par pati babu... "
"Mmm.. mein ne kaha na jao... Jaake tayyar ho jao..." And softly pushes her into bathroom.
"Par pati babu, me kaise tayyar ho jaaun... Kapde nahi liya Naa..."
"Palat ke dekho tho dekhegi patni ji..."
"Par,yeh toh salwaar hai... Me saadi pehanthi hu na pati babu..."
"Mein ne kaha tha na Bondita, hum vacation pe jaa raha hai toh jaane me accha lagega.... You'll feel comfortable dear..."
Bondita's heart fills with happiness and thinks how caring her husband is.
Bondita gets ready and goes to Anirudh. There Anirudh has coffee.
"Me dethi hu na pati babu... "
"Koi baat nahi Bondita, maine tumhare liya bhi banaya he... Lo" he gives her coffee.
"Umm... Bohot accha hai pati... Mmm I am proud of you dear husband." Anirudh gracefully bends and thanks her with a smile.
"Haa,Tum coffee piyo me abhi aata hoon..."
He checks everything and Bondita takes blessings of Durga ma.
"Chalo pati babu... Me ready hogayi..."
"Naa... tum puri tarah tayyar nahi hua... rukho..."
He slowly undid the pleated hair and leaves them free to air.
"Haa ab puri tarah tayyar hogai... Chalo.."
Bondita smiles and they go the car.
Anirudh makes Bondita sit, he resists to sits then goes to driver and asks him to go home.
"Dada, me chalatha hun aap jao...."
"Theek he barrister Babu..Namoshkar"
"Namoshkar".
"Hmm ab chale patni Devi ji..."
"Nahi... Hum yese nahi jaayenge..."
His questioning face fades into smile when Bondita got down and sat beside him.
"Ab chale pati babu..."
On that happy note they start their journey towards shanthi niketan.
