Poles Apart...?

Chapter 3

Previously..

We went outside to see smoke everywhere. I narrowed my eyes and saw a figure standing there. The vision was blurry and unclear because of the smoke but I think I know who is this person.

As the smoke cleared, my doubt turned into confirmation. He was standing right there. What does he want now?

He seemed to be looking for someone as he scanned from one person to another desperately.

"Ryuga? Wha-" Gingka spoke up only to be cut off in mid sentence by that guy saying in an irritated tone "I don't have time for you fools. Where's she?!"

Could he be referring to..

Just then, that girl came out of the room and looked around confused. As her gaze met his, she asked "Brother?!"

....what the hell? They are siblings?! They are like North and South. Totally poles apart! I looked around to see others stunned as well.

"What are you doing here exactly?!" Ryuga asked her annoyed.

"Umm.. I met them at the tournament and they invited me for the movie night so.." that girl said "But what are you doing here??"

"We didn't know that you have a sister, Ryuga." Gingka said after recovering from the shock.

"Because I never intended to tell you."  Ryuga said and turned to that girl again saying "Out of all the people in this town, you found these fools to become friends with?"

I looked at the girl whose expressions changed to the angry one as she said in a raised voice "Brother! It's enough! You can't just say such things about my friends!"

He glared at us as Gingka tried calming them down saying "Ryuga.. why don't you come inside and then we can talk peacefully."

Ryuga gritted his teeth as he glared at us and looked at the girl finally saying "You know what, do whatever you want! It was so useless of me to come here searching for you in this whole damn town!"

I glanced at that girl to see some glint of guilt gleaming in her lowered eyes but she didn't ask him to stop. In a blink of eyes, Ryuga was nowhere to be seen.

Then, all the attention went to that girl. "Hey, let's go inside and then we can talk." Gingka said as she nodded.

"I am really sorry for what brother said..." She said. "Actually brother was out of town and I wanted him to watch my tournament so I told him that I won't ever meet him if he misses it. He must have been stuck somewhere that he didn't show up.. and.. I think he might have gone to the house but would have been worried because I wasn't there.."

"No it was alright. Just we were a bit surprised to know that you are siblings." Gingka said.

"You two seem so different." Masamune remarked.

"Umm.. we are not siblings." She said giving us another shock of the day.

"What?" Everyone uttered at the same time.

"Yeah.. actually.." she started.

"I met him at a beyblading tournament. We had a fierce battle that settled in his favour though both of our Beyblades were badly damaged. I was kinda impressed with his skills, so I thought to follow him to know about him a bit more, though he was a jerk."

"I found myself in streets while following him. There, he defeated some bladers and then suddenly stopped in his tracks saying 'If you have seen enough of my powers, then you should leave now. Idiot girls like you shouldn't be roaming in the streets like this.'
