Chapter 5

"Jungwon-ah you okay?" Jake suddenly asked as he sat next to him. Jungwon glanced at him before he glanced at Jay who was scrolling on his phone.

They were currently in a cafè near the school. "Uh, yeah..." Jungwon smiled. "Why wouldn't I be hyung?" Jungwon glanced at Jake with a smile on his face.

"I know that I shouldn't put my nose in someone else's business, but do you like Jay?" Jake whispered loud enough for Jungwon to hear.

"Of course, not hyung that's nonsense." Jungwon frowned at him. "I see..." Jake shrugged. "Why do I feel like you do though?" Jake asked out loud at what Jay paid attention to.

"What are you two blabbering about?" Jay asked as he put his phone away. "Nothing!?" Jungwon nervously smiled. Jay glanced at Jungwon as he raised one of his eyebrows at him. "You sure?" Jungwon nodded in response.

"Yup, hyung Jake hyung likes talking about nonsense these days..." Jungwon laughed out loud. Jake pouted at him. "I highly appreciate that I talk nonsense." He frowned which made Jay laugh at loud.

"He reminds me of Sunoo now." Jay smiled. "Yup, that same cute energy." Jungwon smiled back at him. "At least, I made you communicate, that's progress." Jake smiled proudly, while Jay and Jungwon looked away.

"Why are you quiet all of a sudden?" Jake asked clueless about the tension between them. Jay glanced at Jungwon and looked away immediately.

"Uh, hyung and I were thinking of a comeback, but we couldn't get anything funny to say so we stayed quiet." Jungwon smiled at Jake who chuckled at that. "Oh, that makes sense."

"Yeah, you just said something so perfect that we couldn't think of anything." Jay grinned at Jake. Jake glanced at Jay and smiled at him. "Aww, now I feel better." Jake fake sobbed while Jay and Jungwon laughed at him once again.

"Uh, hyung?" Jungwon glanced in Jay's direction while Jay was busy with the homework he was writing, but still hummed in response. "I know that it's sudden, but I am sorry..." Jungwon sighed.

"About what?" Jay glanced at him confused. Jungwon bit his lip at that. "Oh, about you rejecting me?" Jay cracked a smile. "No, worries I already forgot about that."

That answer for sure did hurt Jungwon. "If I'm being honest, I think that Jake is the one." Jay glanced down as he tried to suppress a smile. "Oh..." Jungwon glanced down out of disappointment and regret. "I am happy for you hyung." Jungwon smiled at him and Jay did the same thing.

Jake can make you happy, hyung.

He is the right one for you, but I can't stop hanging out with him for now...

"I need to go to the bathroom, I am sorry hyung..."  Jay nodded at him and Jungwon left the room.

If only Jay knew how much did the poor boy cry in that bathroom, if only Jay knew how much Jungwon was hurting, but he didn't.
