An Unbreakable Bond

One Night

We explained to Phillip that we were explorers in another colony just a few hours West of New Terra, leaving out the detail of our Juggernaut being parked near the lake. He explained that his team was sent to study the "unique organisms on the planet."

"Well, it seems we have a problem with containment, so I'm going down to try and fix this mess. Lewis? Take our guests to their rooms, please." Said Mr. Lawson as he exited the room.

"Actually Phil, we need to head back home. I'm sure the others are worried about us by now. We've been gone almost 14 hours." I was also worried about the whole "problem with containment" thing. Who knows what kind of strange creatures lived on the planet...

"Oh don't you worry about that, we'll send them a transmission saying you've stumbled across our colony and decided to stay for a bit. I'm sure they won't mind." He said, trying to reassure us.

We'll, one night wouldn't hurt, right?...

Corridor B, sub-level 6 of New Terra.

We made our way through the many tight turns of
what was to be our home for the night, completely
clueless as to how many lefts, rights, and U-turns we
made before finally reaching our rooms.

"Hank, you're down the right corridor in the room labeled #8, Amanda, left corridor in the room labeled #19. Connor, you follow me. The boss wants to talk to you in private."

"Why? I'm just along for the ride, Hanks the one who knows everything about the colony." I lie, hoping to get out of a meeting with the creepy but polite Mr. Lawson.

"All I know is that he requested you specifically, no one else. Now let's not keep 'im waiting."

We made our way back to the elevator which led to the surface. Two gaurds followed behind as we made our way out of the elevator and up towards the overlooking office.

Something in the back of my head told me that this was more than a research outpost.
