Chapter 16

Jimin and Taehyung went to Daegu the next week.

They decided to spend the holidays there.

The winter is approaching soon and there was a cool gentle breeze started to indicate the upcoming weather.

Taehyung went to Karaoke with their family in the evening and sitting near the window gazing at the night sky now.

Jimin slowly opened the door but Taehyung was busy staring at the sky.

“Taehyung”

He turned in the direction and saw Jimin standing with a cup of hot chocolate.

“here is yours”
Jimin handed the cup to Taehyung and sat beside him.

Taehyung smiled and took a sip humming at the taste.

“what were you looking for?”

“nothing just zoned out”

“hmm”

“I hate winter Chim”

Jimin tilted his head to the side,
“why suddenly?”

“I always hate winters”

“Is it because people suffer and it affects their work?”

“no, my skin becomes dry and flaky in winter. Also, see the chapped lips. Winter is terrible”

Jimin ran his fingers through his hair in frustration.
“I thought you are gonna say something deeply”

“yeah, I said it in a deep voice.”

And Taehyung chuckled seeing Jimin’s done face.

“right, winter is terrible.”
Taehyung agreed and continued,

“Also I hate when snow blocks the path during heavy snowfall. I hate how it blocks the warmth of the sun and mainly I can’t see my favorite flowers blooming.
Sometimes it makes us lock ourselves in our house. It reminds me of my parents who always made me suffer in a locked room.
It’s just weather of doom.”

He frowned at the cup cause he finished the hot choco.

Jimin smiled at him fondly.

“don’t worry Taehyung, you already got rid of them and you can feel the warmth now.”

“where? I think I lost it a few days ago.”
Taehyung said with a sad face.

Jimin understood that his friend is struggling to forget Jungkook. He is indeed affected by that guy much.

Jimin patted the other’s head.

“I know it’ll be hard to overcome the breakup. Please try to distract yourself from him. if you think about him, just do or think any other things to forget those feelings.”


Taehyung stared at his friend and blinked his eyes.

“what?”
Jimin asked in concern.

“since when did you learn to give good advice?”

Jimin chuckled,
“I always give good advice but you just won’t listen to it”

“I agree my lord”

They both laughed and continued to stare at the sky.

“Jimin, I’m gonna switch to night classes next semester”

Jimin looked surprised,

“why?”

“I can’t manage the new part-time job and classes. Morning classes after the late-night shift are tiring. So, I’m gonna take night classes so that I can rest in the morning.”

Jimin nodded in approval.
“ok, as you wish Tae”

“okay”

Taehyung gave a thumbs up and lay on the bed.

Then Jimin left the room after seeing Taehyung asleep.

Meanwhile, Hoseok is bothering Jin in his room repeating the same paragraph.

“Hobi ah please, I’m not interested in these things”

“Please hyung, only one time for me, can’t you just act for 10 minutes?”

“no”

The thing is, Hoseok remembered that Jungkook and Taehyung studied at the same University. So, he decided to return his wallet to him there.

But they won’t allow him inside as they don’t know anyone there except the two. And the university is conducting an acting contest for the students in Seoul.

They can apply online and get an invitation. The students are only allowed if they have an invitation.

So, hoseok is convincing Jin to participate in that to see Taehyung.

But Jin is not interested as he thought that contest is lame.

“please hyung, just this one time. Or else I won’t get any chance to see him. the security scolded me for standing there. Help me hyung”

Jin's eyes widened at that answer.

“so you did stand there to see him.”

“yeah, but they said the students are on holiday and said to come next month. I also got his number to remind me when the classes open.”

“what in the worl-, so how many days you stood there?”

“it’s been 8 days including today.”
Hoseok said looking down.

“you act like a fanboy seriously”
Jin commented.

“yes, I’m his fan indeed”
Hoseok said with a grin.

“Hobi, I can’t believe you would be this crazy for him”
Jin shook his head and looked at the younger.
Hoseok just looked at Jin with pleading eyes pointing his finger at the phone showing the contest poster.

Jin couldn’t say no to the desperate boy in front of him.

“ok, I’ll participate for you. when is that?”

“it’s next month on February 10th.”

“OK Hobi, let’s go there and meet your Romeo. I want to see him cause you said he is so handsome”
Jin winked at him.

Hoseok smiled widely and gave him a tight hug.

“thank you, we’ll go and meet him. you are the best hyung”
Hoseok said in an excited tone. Jin can feel the other’s wide smile on his shoulders.

---I can’t say no to your Bambi eyes though---
Jin thought and ruffled the other’s brown locks.

“sure Hobi”
Jin smiled at the younger and broke the hug.

“then, I should wait for a month to see him. ok hyung be prepared for the contest”
Then he dashed out of the room happily.

“hobi ah please don’t stand in front of the university again. the security will hit you for sure”
Jin shouted in his room.

Then he heard a muffled ok from a distance.

“silly boy”
Jin mumbled and sat in front of the system to apply for the contest.


Hoseok went to his room and took out the wallet.

He smiled at the photo and spoke,

“you will see your owner soon.”

He said and kept it in the drawer.

“I’m excited to see you”
