Lea's POV
Seeing the man you used to share your life with, is now in front of you after so many years of not seeing and being away from each other.
There's a part of me that wanted to hug him so bad, but something's stopping me. I feel heavy in my chest. The memory flashed that day where a sharp knife was cutting deep into my bone, leaving a crack in my heart all because of what he did.
Iniwas ko ang tingin sa kanya. I can't even look into his eyes this long.
I was about to walk away when he called me by my name. "Lea.." His voice, the way he called me using my name, everything felt so nostalgic that it made me close my eyes for a little bit.
"Dad!"
I was taken aback when I saw Callie, the toddler I saw last night, running towards Aga.
He carried Callie as they hugged each other as if they hadn't seen each other for months.
So it's true, Callie is indeed Aga's child. Good for him.
"Where have you been? I missed you!" The little girl asked her daddy.
Tipid akong ngumiti habang pinagmamasdan sila tsaka ako dahan dahang umalis palayo.
As I finished applying sunblock to my skin, I lay my body flat on the sand with a beach blanket on it. Soaking my skin under this beautiful heat of the sun.
I just closed my eyes enjoying the sunshine and the sound of the ocean waves. I spent my time here for I have no idea how long until I decided to get up so I could sit.
Tinali ko ang buhok ko into a messy bun and wore my shorts.
A stranger. I can't deny that he's handsome tho. He's a moreno, his eyes are hazel brown, thick eyebrows, matangos ang ilong, and has a clean shaven face.
I mentally rolled my eye and raised my brows at him.
He sat on the sand beside me. Huh.
He smiled at me. "Hi, I've been seeing you since yesterday and I can't help myself but to admire you--"
Oh for Pete's sake, not again.
I cut him before he could even finish his sentence. "I'm not interested." I said.
Tumayo ako at kinuha ang gamit ko. Ganoon din ang ginawa nya. And when I was about to leave, he grabbed my arm making my brows meet.
"What the hell are you doing? Get off me!" I forcibly pulled my arm from him.
"Huh." He gave me a sarcastic look that I wanted to punch so hard.
We heard a fake cough from behind. "You heard what she said, right? Now leave." I saw how Aga look furiously at the guy making that stranger walk away.
He asked as he checked me.
"I'm fine, Aga. Thanks." Umalis na ako sa harap niya. Naramdaman kong hinabol nya 'ko.
"Lea, can we talk?"
"Wala na tayong dapat pag usapan pa, Aga." I stopped walking, so did he. I turned to look at him. "Matagal na tayong tapos. So what's the point of having a talk? It's just a waste of time anyway.." Tinalikuran ko na siya at naglakad paalis.
