Lea's POV
I immediately approached Yani the moment I saw him.
"Happy birthday, Yani." I greeted as I handed him the gift.
"Hala nag abala ka pa, salamat, Lei ha." He said as he received the gift. "Halika." He led me to the couch sa may railings, then I sat down.
Sinuyod ko ang paningin sa paligid. There are plenty of people he invited and I can tell that his guests are mostly business tycoons. Some of them are even familiar to me.
May lumapit sa kanyang lalaki kaya nabaling doon ang kanyang atensyon. Nagpaalam na muna sya sa akin bago umalis. Pero babalik din naman daw sya pagkatapos. I don't mind though, it's his party, he needs to entertain his other guests also.
People are chatting while holding and drinking their champagne.
I was just enjoying my own company when I spotted Callie approaching me. Oh my god. If she's here, then it's not impossible that Aga's already here somewhere.
Callie was even smiling at me. But when she was about to sit next to me, her smile instantly faded when she realized something. Luminga-linga pa sya sa paligid na para bang may hinahanap.
She mumbled something but I didn't get it.
Bumalik sya sa dinaanan nya. Nasa kanya lang ang tingin ko. She went to a big crowd, and when she saw what she have been looking, she grabbed that hand.
They are now walking towards my position, with a grin plaster on her face. "Hi.." She waved her little hand on me.
"Hello, little one." I said as I gave her a sweet smile.
Uupo na dapat sya sa tabi ko nang napansin nyang hindi gumagalaw si Aga. Nakatayo lang sya. Nung tinitigan ko sya direkta sa mata nya ay agad nya namang iniwas yun.
"Papa, why are you still standing there?" She then pulled his hand and made him sit next to me!
Damn, his kid is really something.
He shyly smiled at me so I gave him a smile too so the atmosphere would somehow light up.
I picked up the glass of juice from the table and drank it when Callie faced me and put her hand on my lap and asked "You're Papa's girlfriend, right?"
Napaubo tuloy ako sa biglaang tanong nya. I was shocked when Aga rubbed my back and offered me a tissue that I gladly accepted. My heart's pounding fast when I felt his touch once again.
"Are you ok?" He asked with full of concern. I nodded my head as I wiped my mouth. "Callie." He mentioned her daughter's name in a warning tone.
She raised her eyebrows as if she was questioning what she did. "What? I'm just curious, Pa," She faced me again. "Are you?"
"What made you think that?" I asked.
"I caught him multiple times staring and talking to your picture. Reason why I know you. I even caught him cry--" She didn't finish what she was talking about when Aga covered her mouth using his hand.
"Alright that's enough." Aga said. Nang tumingin ako sa kanya, ang pula ng mukha nya kaya hindi ko mapigilang matawa.
She's trying to say a word but she can't dahil sa kamay na nakaharang. She's gesturing as if she was surrendering so Aga let her go.
"Ok I'll stop. I'll just get something." She smirked and ran away.
Aga couldn't help but shake his head. His attention went to me. "Sorry about that. Also, please, don't believe everything she said."
