Lea's POV
I video call Vice using my laptop. Hindi ko alam kung bakit sya ang naisipan kong tawagan.
Nasa balcony ako ngayon nakaupo habang kaharap ang laptop ko.
Vice accepted my video call. ["Lia!!"] He greeted me. He's in his office in his office attire.
"Sorry I called. Are you working? Did I disturb you?"
["Ano ka ba, hindi naman."] He paused and stared at me. ["May problema ba?"]
I sighed and recalled what happened last time. "I talked with Aga last time. I confronted him." I told Vice everything from the very start till the end about what happened.
["Are you giving him a chance?"]
I shook my head. "I don't know, Vice. There's a part of me that wants to give him a chance but a part of me also contradicts it." I paused and looked at him. "When do you know that it's worth giving another shot?"
Malumanay syang ngumiti sa akin ["When there's a part of you that's still want to try. When there's a part of you telling that 'I'll give it a try.' If it works then that's good, if not, then at least hindi ka magsisisi na hindi mo binigay yung second chance."] Naging seryoso ang aura nya. ["Kung ako ang tatanungin, I'll give Aga a chance. Kung nangingibabaw yung pagmamahal at foundation ng relasyon ninyo then I would say give him a chance."] He paused. ["Pero, allow yourself to heal first, then if you're ready to restore the relationship you had, then go. I got your back. Just take it easy, sabi nya nga diba na bibigyan ka nya ng space at oras, hihintayin ka nya. No need to rush, Lei."]
Silence filled us after he said that.
["Nandyan pa rin ba ang pagmamahal mo sa kanya?"]
Napatingin ako sa kawalan. I was left with no words. Nandito pa nga ba?
"I don't know how to answer that, but maybe?"
["That's fine, Lei. Take your time. Pero may tanong lang ako."]
"What is it?"
["Sabi mo kanina pinuntahan ka nya sa bahay mo ng madaling araw. Did you give your number to him?"]
Oh. "Uh- he asked for it."
["Tsaka paano niya nalaman kung nasaan ang bahay mo?"]
I scratched my forehead. Why is he asking so many questions? "Well– hinatid niya ako dito."
["Bakit, saan ka ba galing?"]
"I attended Yani's birthday, tapos doon ako nagpalipas ng gabi since it's already dawn when the party finished. Yani said he will drive me home but he has an urgent meeting daw so Aga presented na sya nalang daw." Mahabang paliwanag ko.
["Sinong kasama mo sa isang kwarto"]
"Aga." I regretted immediately from the moment I gave him an answer.
He smiled flirtatiously na halata mong nang-aasar. ["Tabi ba kayong natulog ni Aga?"] Nagpahalumbaba siya at diretso ang tingin sa akin.
I was stunned by his question. Bumalik sa'kin ang pangyayari noong gabing iyon.
["Kaloka! Tabi nga kayong natulog?! Oh my god, Salonga!"] Then he squealed.
My eyes widened. "Shut up nga! You're so loud! Tsaka how could you conclude that? Wala naman akong sinabi ah?" Sige Lea, ipaglaban mo 'yan.
He giggled. ["Wala nga pero base sa mukha mo, alam ko na ang sagot. Matagal na tayong magkaibigan kaya basang basa na kita. Mabalik tayo. Paano kayo nahantong sa ganun? Bakit ka pumayag na magtabi kayo?"] Interesadong mga tanong nya. Oh goodness gracious, mali atang tinawagan ko sya.
"Huh? Uh- there was only one room and bed left available for us eh. I don't want to be eaten with guilt naman kung sa couch ko sya patutulugin so we ended up in that situation."
["Natulog lang kayo? Wala ng iba?"] He curiously asked that made me widen my eyes.
"Vice! Ano ba?!" Oh god his mind is so dirty. I can't even.
["What? Nagtatanong lang eh."] I rolled my eyes at him. ["Asus, asus, oo kayo talaga."] He's really out of his mind.
"Humanda ka. Anyway thank you for your time, Vicey. I'll see you soon." I smiled before ending the call.
I came across an article as I was browsing the internet.
I furrowed my eyebrows when I saw Aga's name. I clicked on it and read the article.
It says here that he's the president and CEO of their corporation. It also stated here that he's the one managing their businesses and even owns half of the Palawan.
Ngayon ko lang nalaman ang lahat ng ito. Akala ko sa Manila lang yung mga businesses and properties nila and also in Cebu. I didn't know na may pag aari rin pala sila dito.
Sa tagal naming naghiwalay at walang komunikasyon, ang dami ng nangyari.
I remember that we promised to be on each other's side during our milestones to celebrate it together, but yeah, unfortunately, things changed.

Bumaba ako nang kotse bago pumasok sa loob ng supermarket. I'll be buying groceries dahil malapit ng maubos ang mga stocks ko sa bahay.
I just bought my car the other two days para hindi na ako mahirapan kung sakaling may kakailanganin pa ako.
I pushed the cart as I was searching for the fruits and veggies.
I'm looking for a good quality veggie when a familiar guy caught my attention. He's looking at me but when he realized that I was also looking at him, iniwas nya ang paningin sa akin at naglakad paalis.
Nilagay ko ang mga napili ko sa cart at hinanap ang lalaking 'yon pero wala na talaga. Who was that?
Hindi ko talaga matandaan dahil bigla nalang siyang umalis. Parang I met that guy once or twice but I don't know when and where.
He's wearing sunglasses kasi e.
I shrugged it off from my mind and continued my errands.
I pushed the cart that is now filled with essentials and made my way towards the cashier for check out.
Kinuha ko na ang mga shopping bags at lalabas na sana nang makita ko ang sitwasyon sa labas.
It's raining and I have no umbrella with me. Maybe I will just wait until the rain stops pouring or kung humina ito.
Napatingin ako sa dala ko nang naramdaman kong may gumalaw nito.
I creased my forehead when I noticed an umbrella inside the bag na para bang may naglagay nito sa loob.
I roamed my eyes trying to see who put this in here pero wala naman akong mahagilap.
Kinuha ko ang payong at may nakasulat dito na note.
Use this.
Who is this kaya? I wanted to thank that person but I don't know how. I once again look around but it's no use.
I opened the umbrella and went outside papunta sa kotse ko.
