The Kissing Disease ~ Luke

Not much context necessary, except the kissing disease is mononucleosis.

And for convenience, Liz Hemmings teaches at Luke's school when IRL she taught at Ashton's school.

"Be cool guys, be cool!" Ashton reminded everyone as they stepped into the house party.

Their first house party together since apparently they're apparently 'cool now' since they've played a gig.

"We are cool, we're punk rock." Michael said.

"No we're not." Calum said nervously, they didn't really know that many people at the party. It wasn't their scene.

"Well I'm trying to pull so don't hang around my ankles like some overexcited puppy." Ashton told his younger friends, they clung to him like koalas.

"Looking at you, Luke!" Ash said as he pointed at him.

Luke already felt awkward, he wore his best shirt and combed his hair, but he felt out of his limit. He was a shy kid. This gave him massive anxiety.

Ashton got lost in the sea of teenagers and the trio of boys found a quiet spot in the house where the host's dog was just chilling. A fluffy cockapoo.

"See, we've already made a friend." Calum said as he plonked his ass down on the couch.

"If only humans were as simple and friendly as dogs." Luke said as he gave their new furry friend a hug.

"I think Ashton's playing goon of fortune?" Michael said as he pointed at a group slapping a wine bag outside.

"Good for him." Calum huffed, kinda wishing they just hung out in Michael's granny flat and ordered a pizza instead.

Michael braved the walk through the house to get everyone a soft drink before returning to the safe refuge of the couch with the dog.

"Ashton's talking to that girl, I don't think it's going well." Calum said as he pointed the pair out amongst the crowd.

Ashton was leaning awkwardly in the doorway laughing about something but the girl clearly wasn't interested.

"I have to pee." Luke said as he got up and gathered the courage to find the bathroom.

"Don't drown." Michael said as he got on his way.

Luke took three steps away from the couch when a girl fell into his chest.

"Kiss me!" She said, Luke didn't know what to do.

"Ok!" He said as he leaned down and made out with this girl, with tongue!

Calum, Mikey and Ash watched on with their mouths hanging open.

"Touch her butt!" Michael jokingly called out but Calum slapped him.

"Please don't!" Cal said but they needn't worry.

The girl then stumbled onto the next person, Luke was shocked but just kept on his mission to find the bathroom.

At the bottom of the staircase another girl leaned over the banister and grabbed Luke's face, squishing his cheeks.

"Kiss me!" She pleaded, what a crazy night.

"Ok!" Luke replied again and went into another make out session. He had a sudden confidence boost now.

Then the girl fell down the stairs and Luke scurried off to find the bathroom. He didn't want to be blamed for any of her injuries.
