Stella signaled me to walk and I started walking

I was so nervous and scared, my hands were visibly shaking and I tried so hard to look confident

"You're doing good"

Whispered lily and when she said that I felt like a weight was lifted off my chest

She saw how scared I was

Once we finnally reached the staircase, Vincents parents left and I felt so scared and nervous again

Vincent again reached out his hand to reach mine,

And this time I gave him my hand without a second thought, which surprised me once I realized it , I didn't even know why I didn't feel scared doing that.

I climbed the 2 stairs and stood on the stage trying to calm myself but I just kept getting more nervous by the second

Vincent still had that dead face and wasn't even smiling, he still stood confidently and there was something about that man, he always gave off powerful vibes, very intimidating if you ask me .

"Ladies and gentlemen, today , Vincent cole maximus , son of Ruth maximus will be crowned the new mafia king, as his mafia has been ranked the worlds first most powerful mafia . And his wife , Bella Hercules , daughter of exel Hercules , you may now crown the king"

Said the man who was wearing all white,

The man then removed the sphere glass off the crown

My heart was beating out of my chest , I couldn't even breathe

Then I picked up crown with my hands shaking out of fear of dropping it or doing something stupid, I can't risk that.

That crown was the most important peice in mafia history

It was estimated to be worth 50 billion dollars, and now it belongs to Vincent

I took a step forward, holding the crown in my hand very tightly

I looked up at Vincent who was 6'3 feet tall, how am I supposed to put this on him

But suddenly he bowed his head down and I was surprised

He wasn't supposed to do that .

But I was grateful he did because I could certainly not reach his head .

I very carefully placed the crown on his head And he lifted his head back up , Then the crowd started clapping which caught me off guard causing me flinch a bit

Vincent walked down the stairs and I didn't know what to do so I followed him and no one said anything

thank god I didn't do it wrong

Vincent's friends then came to him again, he was always surrounded by guards and people

I didn't know what to do so I just stood a few steps behind him, but then he looked back at me which scared me and my body tensed up

My body always tenses up when I know he's looking at me, he's very scary even if he's acting nice , he's only acting nice because of the guests otherwise I doubted he would even wanna look at me.

I mean I'm not near how luxurious, strong, dominant, confident and fearless he was , I can never reach his standards.

He signaled me with his eyes to come stand besides him

I walked towards him , and as soon as I got close he grabbed my waist from behind again and continued his conversation

They usually talked about who they killed and how the people they killed begged to let them live which......wasn't really pleasant to hear so I ignored the conversations
