The driver finnally pulled up to Lexi's house

I texted Lexi to come out

not even a minute passed and she was running towards the car

She got in the car trying to catch her breath

"oh my god girl you look absolutely stunning"

She spoke as she was fastening her seatbelt

"Thanks, you look amazing too"

I replied

We drove to the party and Lexi guided the driver since I didn't know a clue where the party was or where she was taking me

After about 20 minutes, the driver stopped Infront of a mansion which wasn't as big as Vincents house but about quarter of it which was pretty big

But I never expected Lexi to bring me to a house party

"Wait, this is where the party is?"

I spoke worriedly

"Yes duh , the dude who's throwing the party is like super rich and so hot , you definitely have a chance with him"

She said enthusiastically

Fun fact, I'm married . And Lexi doesn't know .

"U-uh okay"

We both got out the car and I realized how stupid I was for doing this whole thing And how dead I was for doing it , Vincent will actually kill me this time

I thought as I literally started to shake

I started to get anxious and scared

But then I thought, if im going to die, I might as well enjoy my last moments

As we were walking up the door I heard loud music playing as we got closer and I could see colorful lights through the window

We walked up to the door and lexi knocked

After about a minute of akwardly standing there

The door opened to a tall , dark haired guy who had blue eyes and was wearing a suit

He was pretty attractive and I was assuming he was the owner of the house when Lexi said

"Hey jakeee thank you for inviting me, by the way this is my friend, bella "

Jake looked at me and smiled , then took his hand out his pocket and brought it forward to shake mine

"Hello bella, I'm Jake it's nice to meet you"

He said, his voice was heavy and deep

I shook his hand and pulled it away quickly

"Come in ladies"

He said stepping aside to give way to us

When I walked in, it was like I entered another universe

There were colorful lights everywhere and the place was packed but not suffocating

it was a clean environment and everything was tidy, the house was beautiful with all the decorations

"Can I get any drinks for you girls?"

Jake asked us

"Give me something strong"

Lexi replied getting a shocked reaction from me

"Coming right up, and you?"

He asked me

"I don't drink"

I said still looking at Lexi who was drooling over Jake

"One cocktail won't hurt?"

He said trying to convince me

I mean, Vincent's gonna kill me in no time anyway

"Uhm you know what yea sure just without alcohol please"

I replied getting a smile from Jake In return

He walked away to get the drinks and right after, we were approached by 3 people Lexi seemed to know

"Oh my god hey guys didn't expect you to be here!"

She said hugging each of them as I stood awkwardly

2 of them were girls and one of them was a guys probably in his 20s

They all greeted Lexi

"everyone, this is bella, bella, this is Hannah , coco and chase"

She said pointing towards the girls then the guy

"Hi Bella, you have a pretty name"

The girl who's name was supposedly coco spoke

"Definitely , I love your name"

Said Hannah

Then, the guy looked at me and said

"They're not wrong"

"Thank you guys"

I replied with a soft tone

Just then , Jake came back with our drinks , he brought coco Hannah and Jake's drinks too

We all picked up our drinks,  all of the drinks were tequila other than mine

We were all talking and having alot of fun

The cocktail thankfully had no alcohol in it since I wasn't planning on this being my first time drinking

When all of a sudden, we heard multiple gunshots go off
