I noticed a slight look of shock in his eyes , like he was surprised but happy

I tried finding my checklist lily gave me for the event but I couldn't find it
I panicked and started going back and forth trying to find it
"No no no my checklist"
I said not realizing there was a man who was sleeping it the same room I was in

I got so scared my face went pale , Im so stupid I woke him up ugh

I took a deap breath and let go as a tear left my eye

I said surprised , relieved and confused at the same time
He gave it to me, but still had his hands on my waist so I couldn't leave
I was still very scared but after a second he let me go and I quickly ran out the door
I sighed in relief,
But still wondered, when I first met him, I thought he was gonna be abusive and manipulative like my father, I even though he'd badly injure me , the man himself has such a powerful, and strong appearance, you would be scared of him no matter what his title was, but to top it all off he does have the title of the most brutal mafia , so you could emagine how terrified it was to hear I was going to be the wife of this man
My thoughts zoned me out as I walked down the stairs,
