I've been avoiding Jeremiah and Belly for days after that incident. I haven't ran into them since. Just the way I wanted it. A carefree non complicated summer.

I woke up feeling like shit, and I had to get ready for the tournament this afternoon. Since I was Solana's escort I was on her team.

I yawned and stretched, and slid on my shoes. I opened my room door and ran right into the two of them in the hallway.

"Oh." Jeremiah said.

"I'm sorry." Belly spoke.

Jere had no shirt on, and she looked like she just came out of the shower. "Hey-" They both said to me before I walked back into my room and shut the door.

I exhaled as I was holding my breath that whole interaction. I noticed that Jere had a apologetic look on his face. I brushed it off.

Not today Satan.

I sat in the kitchen by myself. Misery reeked off of me. "Hey Alf," Conrad said as he walked in.

"Hey," I sulked.

"You alright?"

I exhaled sharply, "Totally. But can I ask you a question?"

"Uh- yeah, sure."

"Do you like Nicole?" I finally looked at him.

"Wha- what do you mean?"

"Do. You. Like. Nicole." Conrad breathed out.

"I do, but I don't know if she's the one. I kind of got my eye on someone else."

"Oh, I know," I blankly. Fucking Belly.

"You know?"

"I kind of figured when I saw you making out with Belly, but here's some advice. Don't string Nicole around. She's actually really nice and she asks about you all the time Con. If you're gonna go for Isabel, break up with Nicole. Don't let your cheating get too far."

Conrad looked astonished by me knowing about the kiss. It's not like they were trying to hide it anyway. "Wait, you called her Isabel," Conrad said.

"So?"

"You only call her that when she pisses you off. What's up with that?"

Belly came into the kitchen. "I'll see you later," I smiled at Conrad who returned the gesture.

"Wait Alfie-" I heard Belly say but I wasn't stopping for her.
