As Jere and I walked back inside after a tense make out session. He noticed Conrad and Belly dancing. He didn't look hurt at all. He just wanted answers from everyone.
As the dance concluded he went up to Conrad. "Hey- we need to talk its important- its about mom."
"We'll talk about this later okay?" Conrad tried to dismiss him. Conrad knew.
"No its important." But Conrad put a arm onto Jere's chest.
"Its okay." Jere looked like he had figured it out too.
"You already know don't you? This whole fucking time and you didn't tell me?"
"Jere-" Conrad tried to stop him, but Jeremiah punched him square in the jaw. I backed up in chock and some people made 'OO' sounds. Jere tackled Conrad to the floor. And some girls gasped.
Susannah broke them apart and they came face to face with their mother. "We know Mom," Conrad admitted.
"Know what?" Belly asked. I cant blame her for not knowing, but God she's so fucking clueless.

Back at the house it was a rough night for everyone. I was holding my mother who told me about how she was scared to lose her bestfriend. Seeing my mom cry broke my heart, and it made me tear up too.
Later that night Jere asked me to join him in the pool. I thought it was kind of weird since he just found out some crazy news but I went anyway.
"I'm sorry for being so shitty all summer," Jere said swimming closer.
"Yeah, your a idiot." I splashed water on his face trying to be quiet.
"I know this is a crazy situation right now-"
"You think?" I giggled.
"But- would you be my boyfriend?" I didn't answer him for a moment. Shocked at his question.
"I'm sorry it was stupid of me to ask-" But I cut him off with a kiss.
"Yes, I will be your boyfriend Jere." He smiled and he kissed me again in the moonlight. Who knew how long our happiness would last?.
I pulled away from him,
"I love you too Jere."
