The dismissal bell rings as hundreds of students walks outside and head home for the weekend. Jack, Miko, and Raf sit down on the steps together as they wait for their rides.
Miko: *Sigh*
Miko pulls out her phone.
Jack: So what're you guys doing this weekend?
Miko: Work.
Raf: I'm flying out to New Mexico to see my grandparents! I won't be back until Tuesday, but don't worry! I've wrote the office an excused absence!
Jack: You're really striving towards perfect attendance, aren't you?
Raf: Yep! A honor roll as well!
The doors of the school open as Sierra walks outside with her binder in hand.
Sierra: Hey, Jack!
Jack: Hey... Sierra!
Sierra sits next to Jack as he sweats profusely.
Sierra: What's up?
Jack: Uh... nothing! What're you...up to?
Sierra: Nothing much! I was just about to make way home until I saw you and your friends here!
Miko and Raf look at Sierra.
Sierra: Got anything planned this evening?
Jack: Y...yeah! Go home and chill, watch a little... TV! *Nervous Chuckle*
Sierra: Are you okay?
Jack: What...I mean....of course I'm okay! Are you okay?
Sierra (🤨): "..."
Miko: Awkward!
Sierra laughs at Jack.
Sierra: You are so weird, Jack!
Jack: What!?
Sierra: But I still love you though, friend!
Sierra wraps her arm around Jack's shoulder as she gives him a hug.
Raf (😐): "...."
Miko: *Singing* Jack and Sierra, sittin in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N...
Suddenly, a car horn was heard honking as everyone looks up and finds Vince's car sitting in front of the school.
Vince: Come here, Jack!
Jack stands up and walks up to Vince's car.
Jack: What is it now, Vince?
Vince: I never got a chance to say thanks for helping me back there on the 24th when that thing was trashing the city! Thanks!
Jack: Uh...ok!
Vince: What are you doing this weekend?
Jack: Staying at home.
Vince: How about you and I swing by the bar tomorrow night and grab a few drinks?
Jack: I don't drink.
Vince: Alright. How about we finish that race we started last year? Muscle car against muscle car!
Jack: Uh...sure!
Vince: Alright then! 11 o'clock! At the circuit! Don't leave me waiting!
Vince rolls up his window and drives off.
