Chapter 24 Cheating Bastard (2)

-In the private room.

Dominic sat in front of Ivan with a relaxed posture, a playful smirk plastered across his handsome face.

"It's been a while hasn't it?"

"I suppose," Ivan answered, sounding slightly uninterested, but Dominic didn't seem to notice. He got up and placed his knee between Ivan's thighs and bent down for a kiss. Just before their lips touched, Dominic received a phone call. He sighed and reached into his pockets. He looked at the screen and immediately got up and went to the other side of the room. He spoke for a few minutes and hang up.

He turned to Ivan," Sorry, I have to go. It's business."

Immediately after saying that, he took his jacket and left the room.

Ivan laughed. Business, huh. He wasn't blind. He had clearly seen the name of the caller. He really didn't know what to think. He wanted to believe that Dominic wouldn't betray him. He wanted to trust him. And wanted to believe that Dominic was loyal to him. But, something was preventing him from doing so. Ivan closed his eyes in frustration. He'd better get ready to leave , because there was no way Dominic was coming back.

In the other private room.

Zane ran his hands through his hair and stared at his glass of wine in a daze. He couldn't stop thinking about Ivan.

He was probably enjoying his time with that man. Being touched by said man and maybe even- *crack*

Zane stared at the pieces of broken in his hands and sighed.

Just the thought of Ivan sleeping with another man made him go crazy. It was so frustrating.

Zane stood up abruptly and made long strides towards the door. He needed some fresh air.

Coincidentally, Ivan was just coming out of the other room ,and they made eye contact.

Zane froze.

"Mr. Lockhart" He greeted.

"General Ford," Ivan nodded in his direction.

"Are you leaving?"

"Yes." Ivan answered

"Where is your partner?"

"He left a while ago," Ivan said dryly.

Zane stared at Ivan's neat and orderly appearance and secretly gave a sigh of relief.

"I also happened to be leaving, would you like to go together?" Zane asked with a slight smile on his face.

"I thought you were busy," Ivan said with an almost imperceptible sourness in his voice as he glanced at the door behind Zane.

Zane seemed to understand what he was implying and quickly explained, " I was just discussing some business with my cousin, it's not what you're thinking."

On having been caught , Ivan blushed. Zane stared at him and pursed his lips, he really wanted this person.

They walked in slightly awkward silence and stopped at the parking lot. He looked around and realised that Dominic had taken the car away. Ivan sighed, he really wasn't in the mood to walk home.

"I could drop you off at your place if you'd like,"

Ivan turned to look at Zane.

"If it's not too much trouble then , thank you." Ivan smiled and smoothly walked to Zane's car and sat on the front passenger seat. Zane was stunned for a moment and then chuckled. He really enjoyed being around him.

They drove steadily to Ivan's house and even though the car was quiet, it wasn't awkward at all.

When they finally reached Callista mansion, Although Ivan was reluctant to part, he said his goodbyes and entered the house. But he was definitely not prepared for what he was about to witness.
