Chapter 17 Saving her highness the Zombie queen

Luckily when I downloaded Wattpad again my account was still there. I will be putting a revised version of my book on mangatoon but the main plot won't change what so ever. I will update on manga toon before I update here. 99% of the story is going to be the same so don't worry; I just want to change the grammar is all. I just hope you will follow and support me there. I would really appreciate it if you did. Well on with the story.

Ivan sat in his car and started the engine. He needed to go pick up Leon and Lana. Leon was living in a five-star hotel a little far from here and Lana was hiding near a small hardware store.

By this time she should have already been betrayed and cast aside by the hero. She must be in utter despair now. This means mason must already be in City A. For the past few days, Ivan had been monitoring Mason's activity and it seems he doesn't want to deviate from his previous life and decided to abandon Lana anyway.

'Despicable bastard.........'

Ivan drove as fast as he could and finally reached the hardware store. Unsurprisingly, it was overrun with low-level zombies. Ivan activated his water ability.

A few days ago he suddenly thought of a way to use his water ability. Every living organism has water even if it is just a little bit. If he controls that water in a certain way, he can easily cause the organism to explode.

One by one all the zombies exploded and turned into slimy piles of meat that gave off a foul stench. Ivan expressionlessly collected the fallen zombie nuclei and stored it in the system space. He calmly walked towards the door and kicked it. The door fell with a bang and there was a frightened gasp. Ivan looked through the doorway and suddenly locked eyes with Lana. She looked terrible. Her hair was messier than a bird's nest. Her face was streaming with tears that seemed to never end and in her eyes, utter despair and dread.

Ivan strode carefully and quietly as to not frighten her. When he finally reached her,he stretched out his hand and said, "It's okay you are safe now."

Lana craned her neck and saw the slimy piles of rotting meat on the ground and burst into tears.

Ivan looked at her with pity. She was betrayed by one of the people she trusted the most and watched her parents get eaten. She was probably too traumatized to walk.

Ivan bent down and picked her up in a princess carry and kept reassuring her as they made their exit. Ivan put her in the front seat and helped her put on her seatbelt. He then gave her a pack of tissues and a bottle of water which she immediately gulped down. Ivan patted her head and told her to get some rest. She nodded lightly and closed her eyes.

Ivan smiled and drove towards the five-star hotel.

'Momo in what exact room is Leon located?'

[In the kitchen on the third floor, and it seems he's with one other person. It appears to be a delicate young man]

Ivan listened as he climbed the stairs.
There probably weren't a lot of zombies since this was a super expensive hotel. But Ivan didn't let his guard down. He used 'map' to survey the area.

Ivan soon reached the third floor and headed to the kitchen. Three zombies were lurking around the door but they were easily dealt with by Ivan.

Ivan pushed the double doors open to reveal Leon and a very delicate and beautiful boy.

"Ivan? What are you doing here?"

"I came to save you."

Ivan glanced at the delicate boy. 'It seems like there's going to be an additional person.'

"What's your name?"

The boy looked at Ivan and replied, "Jade Cohen."

Cohen was the second richest family in the world. Ivan inwardly grinned.

"Alright, would you like to go with us to city A?"

Jade smiled and nodded his head.

"I'll be in your care."

His voice was pleasant and lovely. It was like a gentle breeze.

Ivan smiled.

He wasn't a good samaritan that would go around saving people left and right. He had his reasons for bringing him along. In the original timeline, the Cohen family was one of the biggest powers in City A base. So if he saved their son, it could be counted as them owing him a favour. Calculative? Yes. Underhanded? No.

It was just a coincidence he happened to be here. Ivan led them to his high tech car and drove towards the villa.

Leon looked at the woman sitting in the seat next to Ivan and decided to ask him about it when they arrived. Wherever that was.
