Chapter 23 - Cheating Bastard (1)

Ivan was a little tired when he returned so he went up to his room and slept for a few hours.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Ivan groggily got up and opened the door. It was Dominic.

Dominic gently hugged Ivan and kissed his cheek. Ivan shamefully felt a little happy and blushed.

Dominic chuckled, "How about we go out tonight to celebrate?"

Ivan smiled, " Yes, I would love that."

Ivan changed into appropriate clothing and left the house with Dominic.

Jade stood behind the window and glared viciously at the disappearing vehicle.

Zane, who rarely wore anything other than his military uniform, changed. With an expressionless face, he sat cross-legged in a dimly lit private room.

The private room door suddenly opened and a group of males and females who were barely dressed strode in with captivating steps and swaying hips and in a row in front of him.

Zane coldly swept his eyes across the scantily dressed men and women. He turned his head and looked at the young man sitting beside him.

In a gloomy voice, he asked, "what is the meaning of this?"

"I'm helping you. Didn't you say the one you like is already in a relationship?" The youth smiled mischievously.

"I am not interested in these people, let them leave. Besides didn't you tell me you wanted to discuss business?"

"Cousin, you should really learn to relax."

The youth turned around and told them to leave. They bowed their heads and hurriedly rushed out of the room.

Ivan and Dominic had arrived at the hotel and were currently being led to their private room.

With graceful and seductive steps, the beautiful attendant was leading the way. Swaying her hips and buttocks seductively and turning around to smile alluringly from time to time.

She had been working at this hotel for a while now, and she hadn't really met anyone special because all the important guests were taken care of by the manager. But today, her manager was absent. She definitely couldn't let go of this golden opportunity.

Unfortunately for her, her coquettish glances and suggestive movements were thrown at blind men. Neither of them spared her a glance. So much so that she almost ground her teeth into dust.

"Young sirs, please wait for a moment."

The beautiful attendant stood at the doorway of a private room and bowed slightly, revealing her bountiful bosom.

The attendant opened the door and handed a key card to Ivan. Dominic calmly walked into the room. Just as Ivan was about to enter, the door opposite their private room opened. Ivan glanced towards the door and his eyes widened slightly. Zane stared back at him and froze.

"Zane, why are you spacing out?" Zane's cousin, Liam, stood on his toes using Zane's shoulders as support and looked in Ivan's direction.

Ivan glanced at the youth on Zane's shoulder. His fair androgynous face and slender and delicate fingers were very captivating. Ivan's heart felt stuffy.

He greeted them thoughtfully, "General Zane."

Zane finally recovered from his stupor
and with a strained expression, he gave a stiff nod. "Ivan."

Ivan stared at his seemingly indifferent and expressionless face and the youth still holding Zane's shoulder, and his eyes flashed with an unknown emotion.

Ivan smiled sarcastically, " It seems you are quite busy, so I won't disturb you anymore."

"What's going on?" Dominic walked behind Ivan. He came here because Ivan was taking so long.

"Oh, it's nothing let's go." Dominic nodded and walked back inside with Ivan.

Zane expressionlessly stared at the slowly closing door thinking about how he had just parted with his path and hope to happiness in life.

"Cousin, was that the man you fancy?" Liam leaned excitedly towards Zane.

"You have great taste." Liam smiled and glanced towards the door.
