"I can't believe I almost bailed on you guys. Today was amazing. Thank you so much for giving me another shot."

"Always cool making a new friend." Viney said. She glared at the kid she tackled during the game.

"I had an opening for one..."

Navalia pat her shoulder.

"Alright, easy there, liger."

"We wouldn't have gotten here without you." Willow thanked.

Gus shrugged.

"Yeah, I guess I shouldn't have been so judging and suspicious."

Hunter waved that off.

"Psh! We can forget about that when we play next time... as a part of the Emperor's Coven!"

Navalia slapped her forehead.

"You better not—"

"My name isn't Caleb, it's Hunter! I'm the Emperor's right hand, the Golden Guard!"

"Fucking god he did..."

"Navalia, is he serious? Is he the guy Luz tells us was your archnemisis?"

"Oh how I wish he wasn't. Wait, Luz said what?"

"I'll prove it to you!" Hunter said. He used his staff to get into his Golden Guard uniform, minus the cloak.

"Yeah, this would usually look cooler with the cloak, but I don't have it at the moment. Long story."

The kids gasped. Navalia let out a long sigh.

"Hunter, I told you, this was only going to cause commotion... why are there coven scouts here?"

Coven scouts had emerged from the surrounding woods, and they closed in on the group.

"Hey, scouts! I didn't give you orders to come here..."

Navalia raised a brow.

"Really? I find that hard to believe with your mission and all."

"Darius sent us to collect the recruits."

"Oh! Very good. Then there won't be any delay in branding you with coven sigils and taking you away from your friends and family forever. Hooray!"

Skara started crying. Navalia looked up to the sky angrily.

"You just had to make me crush on the wrong guy, didn't you?! Ugh! I'm so over this!"

Before they could take her staff, Navalia stuck Hunter in a cement straight jacket and took his staff.

"You... I have nothing to say to you anymore."

She and the kids started fighting the scouts.

"Wait, what do you mean nothing to say to me?!"
