Thomas chuffed slowly and tiredly to Tidmouth Sheds. When he got in, a big surprise was waiting for him. Tidmouth Sheds was covered in colorful rainbow lights that shined, sparkled, and bounced in the illuminating moonlight. Thr3twdG#e roofs of Tidmouth Sheds were bedecked with red, blue, and green, streamers, purple and pink balloons in arches, green and blue balloons in clusters, and red, orange, and yellow balloons were scattered around the sheds like lightning bugs. There was a huge blood red banner with bright snowy white letters that spelled out CONGRATULATIONS THOMAS that hung over the sheds like a dead eagle who had almost caught its prey. Thomas was so tired from battling Diesel 10 that he did not notice all of this. He was just about to close his eyes and go into his shed when bright lights swapped his face like epileptic strobes and the engines cheered like screaming keas, "CONGRATULATIONS, THOMAS! YOU DEFEATED DIESEL 10 ONCE AND FOR ALL NOW ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN! HA HA HA!" Then the other engines ran after Thomas like madmen, throwing streamers and balloons at him, tossing funny party hats, a giant cake, and zillions of tiny cupcakes and candy toward him, and even had the strong nerve to throw a million sparkly firecrackers down on top of him. The last straw came when the ghost caught him with the banner, filled it with cake, and hung it from Tidmouth Sheds by balloons.

"WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE!", Thomas yelled at the top of his lungs.
