04 | Questions

Minji kept staring at the wall facing her bed as she had been lost in her thoughts for the past few days.
The mysterious boy was still very intriguing to her and she needed to know more.
She had so many questions waiting to be answered as she kept going through all the possible scenarios in her head.

The girl stood up from her bed as she felt dizzy from being inside the suffocating room the whole day.
She grabbed a few things before leaving the apartment to make her way towards her favorite spot at the large apartment buiding.

Jungwon was yet again on another mission while this time his near perfect shot was interrupted by the sound of the door behind him opening.
Out of instinct he dropped the larger gun before quickly turning around to aim at the person with a smaller gun while keeping his finger on the trigger, ready to fire.

Minji froze at the sight causing her to drop the things she had carried in her hands as she stared at the dark figure who was pointing at her with a gun.
Her heart pounded against her chest loudly as she held her breath while hoping to not get killed.

"Please don't kill me!"

Suddenly the figure dropped their gun before groaning irritatedly as they stood up from the ground to head towards the frightened girl.

"Minji?"

The girl's eyes widened as she realized who the voice belonged to while the person's features were becoming more and more visible as they got closer to her.
Minji let out a sigh of relief as she clutched the fabric of her shirt above her heart.

"Jungwon, you scared the shit out of me!"

The boy rolled his eyes playfully before smirking proudly as the girl's frightened reaction amused him.
He turned around while gesturing the girl to follow as he made his way to sit on the edge of the rooftop.
The two sat down as they made themselves comfortable while admiring the beautiful city at night.
After a while of sitting in silence, Minji felt the strong urge to get answers to some of her questions.

"I think you owe me answers to a few questions"

Jungwon turned his head towards the girl while staring at her with a questioning look before humming as a response to the girl's words.
Minji turned her head to look at him as they were now staring into eachother's eyes while waiting for the other one to speak.

"First of all, why are you here? Second, why do you carry a gun around? And why are you afraid of detective-"

Jungwon closed his eyes tightly while inhaling air to calm himself before interrupting the girl's ramble of questions which made her huff out irritatedly while glaring at the boy.

"You ask a lot of questions, don't you?"

Jungwon said while raising his eyebrows at the girl as she was glaring at him through squinted eyes.

"And I thought I told you to never interrupt me again"

Jungwon pressed his mouth into a thin line before turning his head to look at the city below as the girl's stare was piercing through him.
He kept staring ahead as a deep frown grew on his face before turning around to face the girl again.
