The young boy stared at the scene happening before his eyes as tears were falling down his cheeks at a rapid speed.
He was grasping tightly onto the wall while trying to stay hidden from the masked people.
He watched as his parents were desperately trying to calm the men who had their guns pointed at them while taking steps closer each second.

"Please put the guns down.
Let's have a proper discussion about thi-"

Suddenly the loud sound of a gunshot echoed through the room as the bullet pierced through the woman's skull before she could finish her sentence.

The boy flinched at the sound before watching his mother's body fall on the ground while the frantic man beside her knelt down to hold his wife's dead body in his hands.
The man cried while looking into the woman's lifeless eyes as he could feel the rage growing inside of him.

The boy watched as his father stood up before flashing out his gun and swiftly taking out the masked men in the room.
He then grabbed his phone to record a voice message as he only had a few seconds left before the other men would find him.

"Jiwon is gone.
I don't have high hopes of getting out alive myself.
Get Jungwon safe-"

The man spoke to the phone before he could hear the sound of a gun click while feeling the pressure of the gun held against his temple.

The boy was consumed by fear and frustration as he could only watch the situation.
He was still in a state of shock from witnessing his mother's death and he couldn't bear to lose his father too.

The boy slowly stepped out of his hiding spot which caught the attention of the man pointing the gun at his father.
The boy's father used this to his advantage as he hit the man's arm causing the gun to fly out of his grasp.
He then held the man down while pointing a gun at his face.

"Where's your leader?"

The masked man only laughed at the question before his breath hitched as the gun was now held against his forehead.

Suddenly the door flew open, revealing a bulky short man in a suit who was followed by an army of the masked men.

"So we meet again, Mr. Yang"

The man said as he took steps closer to the boy's father who was now standing up while having his gun pointed at the suited man in front of him.

The young boy felt paralyzed as he couldn't process the situation of his father being the target of the numerous guns aimed at him.
He could feel his vision getting blurred by his tears as he kept moving his gaze from his father to his mother's dead body before his eyes landed on the suited man standing in the center of the masked men.

"Mr. Park, of course it was you behind this! You old bastard!"

The boy's father said while laughing bitterly at the suited man while taking steps back from the army of masked men who were slowly trapping him into the corner.

Suddenly the boy's eyes locked with his father's as he could sense the fear in the man's eyes.

"Run"
The boy's father whispered to him before turning his head back towards the men who were surrounding him.

After hearing his father's faint whisper the boy broke into a run while heading towards the backdoor of the room.
Some of the masked men noticed this as they began to chase after him.

"Get the boy!"

The man in the suit yelled as more men ran after the boy while he was speeding towards the staircase of the building.
As he made it down to the ground level he could hear the men's yells behind him getting louder.
He ran out of a door which lead him to a busy street swarming with cars and people.
The sunlight hit his eyes as he eyed around the street, looking for a place to run to.
The men were now at the door as they were nearing the boy which left him no option.
The boy took a deep breath before running across the busy road while the cars' loud honks and people's agitated yells were causing a piercing pain in his ears.
This earned him some time as some of the masked men got stuck behind the speeding cars.

The boy ran further to a smaller street surrounded by buildings with only a few cars driving past him.
He had lost sight of the masked men as no one could be seen on the abnormally quiet street.
Suddenly someone grabbed his arm before dragging him through a door that lead to a dark room.

The lights were turned on as he blinked his eyes before eyeing around the large room.
The walls were filled with weapons of all sorts.
The boy shivered slightly as he was overwhelmed by the amount of guns hanging on the walls.
What caught the boy's eyes however were the beautifully assembled sniper rifles.

"You like those, huh?"

The boy flinched at the sudden deep voice behind him before turning around to face the person.
The boy didn't recognize the man in front of him.

"You've been through a lot, Jungwon"

The boy's eyes widened at the mention of his name.
He backed away from the man before his back hit the wall behind him.

"Don't be scared. I knew your father"

The boy's heart ached at the thought of his parents.
The picture of their fearful eyes was buried deep into his mind.
He felt guilty for just standing there and hiding while his parents were slowly facing their end.
But through the sadness and guilt a strong wave of anger and vengefulness pushed through.

"I want to destroy those monsters who killed my parents"

The boy looked up at the man with a determined gaze before wiping the remaining tears away.
The man smirked at the young boy's attitude while kneeling down to have a closer look at him.

"Now that's looking better!
You can call me Uncle by the way"

The boy stared into the man's gentle eyes before nodding his head slowly.
The man pat his shoulder before getting up while eyeing the boy with a hesitant expression.
Suddenly his warm gaze was replaced by a cold stare as he began walking away from the boy.

"Training starts tomorrow, Yang Jungwon. Don't let me down"
